Holiday Inn Express & Suites Ruston, an IHG Hotel

I loved the openness of the first floor when you walk in. The employee that checked me in was very helpful. Everything was easy to find. The room was very spacious and clean. It was fairly quiet where our room was located. The area that the hotel is located in was quiet as well, but it isn't too far from the shopping and dining. It is also only a few minutes down the road from Louisiana Tech. There was plenty of food at breakfast, but the majority of it didn't appeal to me. I didn't notice any fresh fruit, but the food I chose to eat was good.

The price is always something I have a problem with, but based on the cost of everything in the world today, the cost of the room we were in was well worth the money. There isn't really anything that I can say I didn't like since this particular hotel is fairly new. I hope they keep taking care of it and don't let it get run down like several of the other hotels in the area.

The receptionist, Ms. Black, was noticeably attentive and professional. The room my girlfriend and I purchased was clean and spacious. The bed was soft with plenty of sheets underneath. There were wall plugs near the bed with wall lamps above. A flat screen T.V. with satellite channels plus HBO and Cinemax was provided. Our experience with the bathroom was splendid with plenty of towels, hand soap, and shampoo/conditioner/body wash.

There isn't anything to nick pick.

the hotel was very clean, and the staff were very friendly and welcoming especially Ms Stacey! would recommend to friends and family. cannot wait to return next year! Ms. Stacey loved interacting with all 10 of our girls that were in our group, and our girls loved Ms Stacey!

From the time my family and I entered the facility, the staff greeted us with smiles, and provided us information regarding the hotel. Anytime we left or re-entered the hotel, the staff pleasantly greeted us. The room was thoroughly cleaned everyday. We couldn't have asked for a better stay.

The only minor issue was a desk chair in the room was squeaky.

Enthusiastically greeted at the front desk by Stacy? Very nice, informed me of where everything in the hotel was located, no need for any questions on my part. My room was spotless, and I got a great night's sleep, the bed was very comfortable. Complimentary breakfast was hot and plentiful. Plenty of parking around the building for my car towing a trailer!

Great location and easy access right off the interstate. All staff we encountered were very warm, welcoming, and helpful. Wonderfully prepared full breakfast! Facility was very clean, other than the exception of a lingering “clean dust smell” possibly coming from the ventilation system in room, or from freshly vacuumed carpet where the bag or filter needed changing. Other than that, an overall pleasant experience. Recommend to anyone!

Laundry room was dirty and dryer didn't dry very well. Breakfast was not Holiday Inn Express's Standard, at 715am hardly any eggs, no meat, no yogurt, Few potatoes. Very limited selection.

The hallways smelled like moisture.... smeeled like mildew. The room was very nice. No one actually walked around to make sure the elevator area needed to be cleaned. Their was a cup of juice on a rack by the elevator for hours and the carpet in the elevator was dirty.

Clean and cheap the common areas by the hour when their is high traffic.

The space in the lobby and kitchen/dining area is very clean and well maintained. The room was very clean, and the beds were comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful.

There wasn't anything that I didn't like about the facilities. The price is a little high to me.

Excellent accommodations with several stores/restaurants within a couple miles drive. Pet friendly. Great breakfast bar provided by friendly staff. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.

The only issues we had could not be faulted to the facility as covid issues have left many businesses short staffed and overworked. They did very well considering the challenges they face.
