Wingate by Wyndham Shreveport Airport

Didn't really have a good variety of choices, but it was okay. The location was great. There was a Walmart, Wing Stop and Papa John's pizza and next to the hotel you had a Cracker Barrel, the location was excellent. You can't beat the gas station for travelers to gas up and hop right back on the interstate for travel which was right there.

Wi-Fi was excellent. Never lost signal and stayed connected. Staff was so nice and helpful. We were placed in a room and the TV needed programming. Maintenance was sent immediately with a new room key. The rooms were very clean and the beds were comfortable. Staff was always busy working but greeted us every time we saw them whether in the hallways or lobby. I am very pleased with my stay and definitely will return!!!

Nothing really. Possibly the fact that there is only one elevator in the hotel and our room was at the opposite end of the hall on the third floor. It made for A LOT of walking 🤣.

I had a bit of a problem when I first arrived I reserved for a extend king bedroom and when I got there all the room were taken. Of course my family and I were upset and it's nothing that could've been done that night. I was more considering because the girl at the front desk was new. So we ended up getting a twin However, the representative ( from bookings) & the manager was on top of everything and gave me a half refund. The king bedroom was CLEAN I GIVE Props TO THE HOUSEKEEPERS ! with a lot of space, bed was so comfortable, plus the had a sofa bed and the staff was very polite. They even had breakfast in the morning. Nearby: it's a lot of near by places cracker barrel, Walmart , wing stop, pizza spot, Wendy ,and etc all of these are walking distance. I would recommend this to someone & will be visiting again.

There are many things I liked about my stay and one is great customer service from the front desk but Andrea went far an beyond with helping me find my son who had went to breakfast and some how went back to the wrong floor and it was Andrea who found him and walked him back to my room Thank you Andrea for your help and concern as to my son whereabouts my room was very clean and comfortable the breakfast was great also. ❤️❤️❤️ Andrea Thanks a million ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Hotel manager (s) were very friendly and helpful. Room and bathroom were clean. Beds were very comfortable.

The only things while not taking anything away from the hotel management and staff. Was having the sink in the room instead of the bathroom. It male's it a little hard especially if you just want a quick wash up before dinner or seeing the sites and you have a family including young adults and children with you. When you turned on the very bright bathroom light a very loud fan also came on. I wish there was a was to have both a softer night light especially for young children who wake up in the middle of the night. And quieting the bathroom fan. Between those two things the little ones are now wide awake at 2 am.

The bed was one of the more comfortable beds I've stayed on in quite some time. To top everything off, the hot water in the shower was a dream, nice and hot and stayed that way. The Staff was very friendly and accommodating.

The breakfast was your typical continental breakfast. There was nothing wrong with it, but it wasn't anything more than I expected either. There was a large business group there, so the poor staff was catching fits trying to keep coffee made.

Booked for 1 night in November 2021 via Booking.com. It was $86.98 for a King bed, including the 6% occupancy sales tax and 4.45% State occupancy tax. + Microwave + Mini Refrigerator + Complimentary parking available on property + Decent size + WiFi (no password needed) + Large bathroom + Remote control sealed in plastic + Walking distance to Walmart Since we planned to stay in Shreveport for just one night, I researched hotels that were budget friendly but with good reviews. This hotel made the cut and was a very good choice. I did not experience any of the issues some Yelpers spoke of. I’d recommend this hotel and would stay here again.

The stay was good for the most part. The desk clerk Martisa was a great person. She was in the process of training two new people. I enjoyed her as a person and she made my stay very nice. Her professionalism was excellent

The smell of the carpet. The breakfast was not good. I had a bad experience with a desk clerk in the beginning when I called to ask about a military discount. She was very rude and her name was Angel. When we arrived all was well with the check-in and stay.

Great value for the weary traveler. Bed was comfortable, room & bathroom clean, and the location was great due to being walking distance to restaurants and other food/drink shopping. This hotel did seem popular as well - it seemed booked when I stayed. I would stay again if ever traveling thru the area again.

Staff wasn't the friendliest and the breakfast wasn't the best quality or selection. However, the stay overall was great.

Overall, an acceptable hotel stay. Clean sheets, room, and general area. It was quiet and I generally felt safe.

The only non-significant issue was the hotel staff. It was obvious they did not want to be there. I walked up to check in and waited about 5 minutes to be serviced. The attitude was of pure annoyance and inconvenience. I had been driving for approx. 9 hours to that point. I only hoped for a semi friendly interaction.
