location. and friendly staffs. our kid kept asking but banana and they went to another hotel near by and borrowed some bananas for us. I thought that was really sweet of them.

we got the last room and at night there were lot of insects entering our room due the light right outside the room door

Convenient location dor Acadia National Park Access with immediate access to the Island hopper bus if you require it

May run out of Parking spaces in peak season or Saturdays, but they have a sister property nearby to accommodate overflow parking. We paid a high price, but it is peak season rates, I guess

Everything went really well. We enjoyed our stay. The coffee and breakfast items were constantly being refilled which is a plus, many places don't do that. Friendly people working there. Price was good for Bar Harbor. Walk to town was doable!

Speaking of breakfast the only thing I wasn't keen on was the sausage biscuits. Microwaving them made the biscuits mushy. Maybe just offer sausages and biscuits separately? Idk Parking is a bit close to the road but there really isn't anything they can do about that. The TV reception was jumpy. We were going to say something but honestly we weren't in the room constantly.

It is close to Acadia National Park and there are nearby restaurants.

We checked in late and were very tired of our drive from Vermont. The next morning at 10:00 am, housekeeping knocked on our door wanting us to check out early so they can clean the room. Check out is 11:00 am and guests should not be bothered as we are fully aware that we should leave the premises by 11 am.

The room was clean, the furniture was updated and the beds were comfortable. The bathroom was nice and the showerhead was good. The view of the ocean was great. The staff and cleaning crew are very nice.

The exterior carpet could be changed to a surface that can be cleaned and maintained more easily. The location is great and a few small changes could make this a much nicer motel on the outside too!

The smoke alarm going off in the middle of the night. Wish bathroom was a little nicer, and A/C worked a little bettter

The breakfast was sufficient. Location to downtown and the park was very convenient and the bus service was great.

There could have been another chair in the room. The light switches were a little confusing, because the television was wired into the first light switch in the door.

Spacious. Our king room was very close to the breakfast/coffee area so very handy. Nice housekeeping staff.

The breakfast options were limited but I liked the microwave sausage sandwich. There were lots of electrical wires in the bedroom and it was hard to know which power sockets and lamps were connected.

Location was plus point for us as it is pretty close to Acadia Nartional Park where we visited. Breakfast is definitely big Plus. we really enjoyed breakfast specially choices were good. Staff is good.

Finding parking may be tricky sometimes. Lets say one day we came late and we had hard time finding parking in the hotel. we waited 30 minutes for somebody else to leave and we took their spot.

The Days Inn at Bar Harbor had overbooked so they moved us to their sister hotel the Harborside which was right on the harbor and was absolutely beautiful. We could not have asked for more. They also gave us certificates of $15.00 per person to use toward our breakfast, which was delicious.

We were in one of three rooms in the beautiful building above where all the banquets take place. We happened to be there during the middle of the week so there was no loud activity beneath us, but had it been on a weekend I believe staying in that room would have been a different story. But a bonus was that we could walk downstairs go out the back door walk the straight path to the another large beautiful building walk straight through it and out the other side and that's when you run into this beautiful pool and to the left was a hot tub that was probably 8'x 15' and we were completely alone. The sky was incredible. And if you were really relaxed and quiet you would hear the ocean since it's just over the hedges.
