Comfort Inn Brunswick

The location is very good; the hotel is not in town but is a short drive into town. The rooms have everything you need, great tvs, comfortable beds and different levels of privacy (screens etc.) so that you can let in light but not other guests. WiFi worked well. For Free breakfast (nice amt of time) there are quite a few choices--cold and hot. Great waffle maker! Toasted bagels AND English muffins, regular OR reduced fat butter, peanut butter+, cream cheese really good too. Eggs and sausage ok, but hard boiled egg and sausage make a great sandwich! And the coffee is surprisingly good too.

Walking access is somewhat limited.

The employee at the front desk answered questions about the area for us. He was able to tell us about Booth Bay Harbor. He explained that when the weather alert was saying flash flooding it didn't mean for that area and we were safe to travel. We had traveled 12 hours and decided to book a place on Booking.com of which it was our first time using this app. We were not disappointed with the hotel. When we pulled in it was warm and inviting. They had it decorated with patriotic swags. It had a small arch way on the side with flowers and ladies were taking pictures and so did we. This hotel was right off of 295

Air conditioning was loud.

A good value, perhaps the best in Brunswick. Location a little tricky, as making a left crossing busy Route 1 requires care and patience. The complimentary breakfast includes hot offerings including mske-your-own waffles. Would be nice if they mixed it up a bit from day to day.

Although described as a no smoking property, it became apparent that several guests were smoking in their rooms. Guest were smoking at open outside doors but the smoke was blown back into the hallway. Both outdoor Public sitting areas dominated by smokers. Sigh

The beds were very comfortable on par with more expensive hotels. The grounds & views from room windows were beautiful & restful!! Loved that there’s a laundry near the rooms. Very convenient to drive to different parts of the area

The spot is a bit to very dead for internet & weak for phones. The internet was down at checkin - but the resourceful staff used their personal phones to check guests in. Hotel needs a boosted signal at the least!

This property is a gem. Very clean and comfortable. Fabulous staff. Bent over backwards to accomodate. Very good breakfast.

A little traffic noise despite a barrier of trees between property and busy highway. Our room was on the front closest to the road. But the positives here far outweighed this minor issue, which was not severe enough to cause much problem.

Location was about 45 minute north of Portland airport. This was a great location for us to stop for some sleep after a flight that landed in the early evening, so we could get up in the morning and make our way to Acadia. Staff were friendly. Breakfast was a plentiful layout of many options, hot and cold, and well stocked.

Room was a little tired but not bad. A little pricey for what we are used to, but it's June and tourist season - we get it.

Free breakfast is great! Good selection of standard breakfast foods. Price is reasonable. Staff is super friendly! Good location with everything you could need in close proximity. Room was generally clean and everything was in good order. Overall great stay!

Lack of charging places. The outlets in the light on the night stand were so worn our chargers just fell right out. And there weren’t really any other accessible outlets. And my other concern was how stained the comforter was. Not a huge problem because of the flat sheet and top sheet but still makes me wonder what that poor comforter has been through!

Breakfast was excellent. The hotel was a short taxi ride to Bowdoin College. At the end of the stay, when my Lyft ride did not show up to take me to the airport, I missed my flight and the hotel let me go back to my room for a few hours to change my flight and arrange for a taxi, even after I had already checked out. Thank you!

Everything was good.

The young woman who kept breakfast stocked was efficient, busy, and thorough. We didn't use any other facilities in the hotel. Even though the hotel was sold out, it was quiet.

The room was far more expensive than any other Comfort Inn we have stayed in. It was Saturday of Father's Day weekend, which might explain it, but it was definitely not a $300+ room.

Location and value for the $.

Air conditioner functioned well as to temp control. But was not as effective in humidity control. Hand washed clothes took longer to dry.
