Best Western Plus Waterville Grand Hotel

I enjoyed my stay, even though we didn't use much of the facilities, the staff was friendly, and the property was pretty and clean. The hotel was located close to the airport which was a blessing after a full day of travel. We came to visit a sick family member, and the hotel was a nice retreat from the stress of travel and visiting with family.

I liked the hotel I do not have any complaints about our stay. Everything was great. If we come back this way, we would stay again. Thank you to the staff for making our stay comfortable.

I started my days too early to try the breakfast. Best Western is however in a very convenient location close to numerous eating establishments and stores. Rooms are nice and the beds were extremely comfortable.

The cost of lodging at Best Western in Waterville is way too high. This is not unlike the cost of lodging in other areas of the country, but travel expenses are becoming prohibitive and I may do more staycations in the future.

I loved everything about the hotel it's beautiful great location very clean. I did not expect to stay as long as I have I'm glad I did the breakfast in the morning is excellent. Very very nice place to stay

There is a particular Hostess in the restaurant that's very rude her name is Lois or maybe Louise. Very rude and short with people. A person like this should not be in the customer service field especially a restaurant host.

The breakfast was excellent! I received a voucher for the restaurant and had ample choices. It was hot and fresh and made to order every morning. The pool is very warm and big. You don't see pools like this very often in hotels anymore. The room was very clean and the staff were wonderful! I will definitely go there again when I visit.

The hotel did need some updates and repairs. The rug in the elevator had an awful odor. The best bet would be to tear it out and replace with tile or something. There is a parking lot out back that was having a party, not sure if it was college kids or the homeless population. I don't believe it was on their property, but traveling alone, I was a little worried, initially, about my safety.

They had no hooks to hang towels on, the toilet was extremely low, seriously a small child would not have to struggle to use it..........also booking.com would not refund us a day we had to cancel for the room. Even though it was because the airline canceled our flight and rebooked it a day earlier. . Actually lost a day on rental car through them also for same reason.

All of the above mentioned. Additionally, the kindness of the employees was exceptional. I applaud Best Western for their choices in Desk Management and Housekeeping personnel. I was pleasantly surprised to see a small apple orchard, a very healthy one, right outside my window. All of the trees were full of healthy, ripening, red apples with many having shed quite a few on the ground. Nice view for a hotel room in the middle of a small city. I am glad I brought my art supplies.

There is nothing not to like! Everything's comfortable, pleasant, clean. All of the personnel are very nice.

Room itself was clean. Bathroom was very clean,, the bed was fairly comfortable. Refrigerator and microwave nice and clean. Staff friendly and helpful. I left a bag behind and housekeeping left at the front desk for me to pick up.

The bathtub in my room will fill up while taking a shower. The faucet ran hard continually and little water pressure came from the shower head not much at all. Middle of my shower I was ankle deep in water. Noticed a red spot on the window curtain. Not sure if it was blood or something else. Hand towel had a red stain on it too. Again not sure what it was.

Breakfast was excellent and the staff was very attentive and nice.

I was in a non smoking room but other room near me most of been smoking rooms because the whole hallway smelled like smoke for like 2 days then it was better.

The pet friendly feature is extremely important to us. I also liked that the pool was open and it was nice and warm and clean. The restaurant has excellent food. They had the best chicken Caesar salad I've had in quite a while and I had ordered it "to-go". I liked that breakfast was included and you had a choice of a voucher if you prefer a hot breakfast. I didn't have time for breakfast this visit, but have had it before (and my husband enjoyed it). I'm also glad that the prices have stayed reasonable through the years.

Nothing really--everything was great! The staff is always very accommodating!!!
