Best Western Plus Augusta Civic Center Inn

My 2 week visit was fantastic. Great staff, comfortable room, excellent breakfast, Based on the experience of my 2 week stay, I stayed here again for just 1 night weeks later.....

My repeat visit was AWFUL. To start with the tub/shower didn't drain. The manager at the front desk was rude. There were noisy people around, which surprised me as the room I had the previous visit had been quite quiet. I guess the walls were thinner than I'd initially thought. Starting EARLY in the morning (maybe 7 am) maintenance started hammering (literally) on one side of my room. FINALLY, the hammering stopped........But then he starts working on the room on the other side of me! IT WAS AWFUL! Probably one of the worst hotel experieces I'd ever had.

Location is great next to mall and Walmart and restaurants. Outside the hotel is a lovely lawn with chairs and tables to sit on and enjoy the fresh air. Everything is clean. Microwave and fridge and coffee maker were all clean and working No bad smells. No dirty carpets or sheets. All was very good. Have extended our stay today to another 3 days

The staff member that checked us in was really nice and our room was clean and the bed very comfortable. Everything looked very nice.

The hallways smelled a bit weird, like trying to hide the smell of people smoking right outside of the floors rooms. Our keys wouldn't work so we needed to go back down and get new ones, which only one of those keys worked. It is also a little weird that you don't need a key to enter the building, as a safety precaution to not just let anyone in.

The room appeared to be very clean and the bed sheets appear to be clean also, the bathroom was clean and there were fresh towels. A coffee maker and a fridge and a microwave all a definite plus.

Minor things, in the bathroom a couple of the ceiling tiles have been removed and not replaced properly. I fixed that myself. There were signs of a previous leak in the ceiling in the main living space which had been repaired but not done as well as one might have wanted although it was acceptable.

Staffs were polite and helpful. Nice place for a stop over. facilities and room was exactly as described. They had good selection for breakfast - healthy choices were there. They had a cold water dispenser near the entrance , super nice of them.

Location next to civic center was excellent. Surprisingly good array of breakfast items all hot and fresh.

Beds squeaked and groaned every time you moved. Shower head very hard to adjust and disappointing.

The staff was unbelievably friendly. I was also happy that it was located right next to IHOP and near the mall

My remote didn't work, the tub was a bit finicky and the room was a bit cold. The staff really did the best they could though to help. None of the issues were severe and it wasn't anyone's fault

clean and quiet. the gentleman that helped us at checkout was wonderful and polite. he was surprised this was my first time staying in a hotel, but welcomed me all the same.

beds were stiff, but I always prefer mine 😀

Problem with door lock. Made sure safety bolt was latched after we discovered it wasn’t always locked when we left the room. Reported it to desk clerk when we left and was told they would have maintenance look after the problem.

The staff was wonderful and helpful when we needed another night. Breakfast was good and staff were wonderful. Rooms were very clean

The mattress were uncomfortable. The springs were a bit pokie especially rolling over.
