Maine Evergreen Hotel, Ascend Hotel Collection

Lovely place, felt like a ski chalet with lovely decor, art everywhere. Really lovely modern breakfast and lounge facilities. Friendly staff. Comfortable bed and nice bedding. Breakfast was a level above standard fare, with the normal items plus waffles, scrambled eggs, and sausages. Enjoyable stay, pleasantly surprised - would stay again.

Need an extra toaster in the breakfast area to stop the delays at breakfast from people queuing to use the single toaster. Because the entrance to rooms is from outdoors which is lit up overnight, it is not possible to sleep with the blinds open because it is too bright. The air conditioner was very loud.

The staff were great. Especially Ariana and Thomas. They were very helpful, patient, and polite. The breakfast was delicious. The pool was clean and warm.

The only issue is that the remote in the room was only for the cable box. We couldn't change it to HDMI for the kids to play their video games. Adding the TV remote would be great.

Staff (Thomas) exceptional. It is clear that he intends to make sure your stay is welcoming and easy. The pool area is beautiful and like the rest of the hotel including the breakfast area meticulously clean and tidy. It is clear that there is great pride in this location. Well done!

The only down side and it may have been overlooked on my part is the fact that this is a motel. We aren’t super fond of motels as a personal preference and I’m not sure this is obvious on the site.

Myself and 2 family members booked into a room with 2 full beds. We asked if we could have a cot in the room and we were not able to due to fire safety regulations. Arianna at the front desk was very nice and responsive. The solution that we went with was to book an additional room-convenient to the original room and we were graciously given a discount on the second room- thank you!!!!

The hotel was very clean and furnished nicely. Staff was very friendly.

I didn't like the fact that they make you have your room cleaned even if you don't need it! Also, they didn't have a dresser for your folded clothes, just one drawer under the microwave!

The room was clean and the bed was comfy. There was an issue with the tub not draining quickly. I reported it to the front desk on check out and she made a note to have someone address it. The breakfast was good and the staff very friendly. Our stay was short so I did not get a chance to check out the work out room. I would stay again.

The staff was exceptional and definitely very proud of the facility. After checking us in, Thomas at the front desk, called us to ensure we were pleased with the accommodations. I have traveled much in my life and I can't recall that ever occurring before. The room wasn't overly large but very clean and comfortable. Free, full breakfast was included, which was a big plus.

The hotel was so beautiful. The rooms were clean. They had all the details covered. The staff was very helpful and professional. I would stay there again in a heartbeat. I also loved the local art located throughout the facility.

The only complaint I have is that there are not more locations.

The location with easy access. The rooms which came with a mini refrig. coffee pot, hairdryer. Having a free breakfast was great. Clean room. The girl who was on when we checked in gave a great suggestion to eat for Mexican food. We tried it and it was great.

The parking lot. We had bottom floor unit in the front and when we go back from dinner we had to park way out back. Not a major issue just inconvient. Maybe put a little bigger TV in room.

Everything was great! The staff really made the experience even better! Renovations are looking great! Such a welcoming, comfortable, and warm place!

Thought they had a year round pool but only an outdoor, summer pool
