The Beach Rose Inn

It’s in the perfect place to visit all my favorite places in Wells and Ogunquit and Kennybunkport. Candy store and several eateries within walking distance and the ocean barely 2 miles away. The staff was accommodating and kind!

I have only stayed here once but I stayed in a corner queen room with no balcony access. The floor was tilted and the position of the bed made it feel like I was sleeping on a hill. It was kinda small. I know I went at peak season but it was expensive.

It was cute, cozy, and clean! We enjoyed our stay. We had a second door that allowed us to go straight to our car instead of going through the lobby. We arrived late, and the directions were so easy to get into our room. Thank you!

The perfect spot for a little getaway with a friend. The rooms were clean and cozy, the location was the best, and we would definitely stay again. We actually spent a fair amount of time in our room, and can attest to the cleanliness. The Wi-Fi was good, cable tv selections were also nice. You can see the walkway railings have recently been replaced and it was in full functionality again.

The room was as advertised, clean and ready. The owners are working hard during the off season to bring the facility up to a higher standard. There were a few cosmetic deficiencies but it looked like they have a handle on it. Overall very pleased with our stay and the help of the employees.

A microwave in room would be great. Would have liked to have coffee before we set off but can understand during off season you can't have everything.

The place is a gem. The staff is wonderful and full of suggestions. Very accommodating. The room was huge, bed comfy, nice chairs and table. The place was spotless. Surprisingly, they cleaned and made up the room every day. Only second hotel in a year that did that! Fridge was a plus. Well situated for the free trolleys, restaurants, drug stores, supermarket, all in short walking distance. The summer only trolleys go to Wells Beach, Kennebunkport, Ogunquit and Perkins Cove, free for 2021. Trolley to the Amtrak station too, certain hours. Plus, it was very reasonable and a great value. I would definitely return.

I had to walk upstairs to my room. Not a deterrent.

The room was perfect and cozy and the staff was lovely! I'd absolutely stay here again.

Bed was very comfortable, room was very clean. Staff was very friendly.

Maybe you could add some plastic cups in the bathroom.

We enjoyed having a full kitchen in the studio apartment. There was also a semi-private balcony for that room which unfortunately we weren’t able to enjoy because it rained Aniston the entire time we were there. The owners are super friendly and accommodating. The room was clean, the bathroom seemed new and fresh.

The view of hannafords parking lot isn’t ideal but being able to walk over to grab groceries was convenient. The outside of the property is in need of TLC and is being worked on. They seem to have some wonderful vision for what they would like and are doing their best to achieve it even with shortages of workers in all fields. The only other thing I wasn’t sure I’d like once they started serving coffee (they weren’t during our stay because of covid restrictions) would be that the studio apartment opens up into the coffee sitting area. Seems like it might get a little loud and hard to navigate if you were checking out and carrying luggage through there with people seated.

The room and facilities were very clean. Nice to have a little balcony and ability to open the door for some fresh air.

Road noise was noticeable. The room could use some furniture: a cabinet or table even, so that the small fridge did not need to be directly on the floor and thus more easily accessible. Many places feature microwaves in the rooms but not here.
