Sea View Motel

We have stayed here before under different ownership. The new owners were very accommodating letting us check in because our room was ready. The location is perfect because it is close enough to town that you can walk and get to the beach, Cliff walk and Perkins Cove by foot. The traffic in Ogunquit area can be quite congested because it’s such a gem of a place and more people are finding out about it. The pool was open and very nice. The biggest factor is that this motel is affordable.

We do like places that offer breakfast but much has changed since Covid. There are several breakfast places and they are walkable if able.

The room was very clean and acceptable. The office staff were exceptionally very helpful and tried their best to accommodate me by changing my room to something more comfortable for me. After checking out I received a very nice text from the office person, I really appreciated the follow-up and concern.

The beds were uneven, soft, and uncomfortable for my liking.

The room was very clean, I enjoyed the deck next to our room, the staff were exceptional... Great!

The noise level overhead in the room when sleeping kept us up , the guests above walk a lot in the night I think the sound barrier was weak - The pool area requires attention. 1- The furniture is not in good shape, the loungers are all stained with dark spots 2-chairs are broken. when I sat the arm was broken Smoking on the decks of the facility ( outside rooms) a designated area would be good rather than everyone just smoking on the room decks

The reason we stay at the Sea View Motel year after year is mainly because of the location and price. The staff is always very friendly as well and helpful! We will be back next year I am sure.

The room is a little dated and could use some updates. There also was a bit of a musty smell in the room but nothing terrible. We genuinely enjoy our time there but just wanted to be honest.

We only stayed for one night, but would stay longer on our next trip. Sea View Motel is super clean and the staff is so helpful and welcoming. We had a room with 2 double beds- super comfortable mattresses and pillows! I love pillows and their pillows were abundant! The rooms have a microwave & mini fridge and each rooms has a little outside seating. The pool is clean and perfectly placed on the property. The location is excellent, an easy walk to town and the beach- bring your beach cart. Very easy to get to a variety of restaurants. Highly recommend the Sea View Motel!

Location was great walking distance of everything

Needed some updates And a few times when we went to the office when it was supposed to be open it was closed and there was no one there and no notes on the door to tell us why, It's a nice clean affordable place

The location was great and was able to walk into town easily. Charlie at the desk was very personable and kind which always makes trying a new place great. The woman who checked me out this morning was also very sweet. The room was very clean. I always take my own cleaning wipes if I go away but I did not need them. I loved the set up with the toilet and tub set apart from the mirror and sink. I didn't need them but it had a nice fridge, small microwave and coffee pot. I thought the value was great for the one night away I had here in Ogunquit. Also it was very quiet. That has not always been the case in other places I had been. Thank you plus it was supposed to rain this week end and only saw rain during the night so that was a big plus too!! My daughter also enjoyed it!

Everything was great so there were no negatives!

The beds were surprisingly comfortable. The owner was such a sweet man and even went out of his way to dry my daughters clothes. It had been pouring rain.

There was nothing I didn't like honestly. I wish it was a little closer in walking distance to the beach but it was still wonderful

The heated pool was extremely pleasant, we made a point to go every day. There was coffee ready every morning that we had before we went across the street or 2 minutes down the street for breakfast. There are also 2 restaurants within walking distance both are very good. Downtown is literally a 5-minute walk can’t beat that, far enough not to hear the noise from downtown but close enough to walk and join the crowd while shopping or sitting and having a wonderful “Martini” like we did. I recommend this place for a long or short getaway. The price is absolutely unbeatable and make sure we WILL be coming back here!!

There really wasn't anything that I did not like. Maybe if they had breakfast, but honestly the coffee that they had every day ready for us was good enough especially because there was a restuaurant right across the street with a great breakfast.

The motel was clean and in walking distance to the center of town and beach.

There were not a lot of amenities in the room such As an iron but the front desk graciously loaned me one. The pool area was not relaxing and there was no hot tub.
