The Garrett Inn

The rooms were decorated especially pretty & individualized. Not like a generic chain hotel in the least which we try to avoid. Love being able to park right outside room to be able to get in/out of truck easily - it was our 1st night of a 9 night road trip so convenience was key. Loved all the spring flowers on the lobby porch too. Nice homey touch.

No problems with the room & parking lot was decent for a boat trailer. Convenient location near several dining/bar establishments & the lake. No breakfast offered so we made do with some leftovers from dinner - fridge & microwave helped in that regard.

We had a wonderful two-night stay at the motel and couldn't be more pleased. Our room was not only spacious, comfortable, and impeccably clean, but it also exuded a warm and cozy atmosphere. The motel's surroundings, adorned with beautiful flowers and seasonal decorations, added to the overall charm. The owners were exceptionally friendly and hospitable, making our stay here an absolute pleasure.

The location was amazing! The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The room was the cleanest hotel room I’ve ever stayed in.

I wish the parking spot for our room was right outside of our door. When other guests would come and go, they would wake me.

Cute, comfy room with all the necessary features in a small space. Well maintained and clean.

The heat/ac unit blew directly on the little table & seating area. People in nearby rooms smoked outside their rooms, but the smoke was then drawn into our room through the heat/ac unit.

Our room was very comfortable, and the country decor suited me to a T! It was very clean, well maintained, and everything worked properly except the TV, which the owner came over and took care of immediately. The location is fabulous - easy driving to restaurants, shops, the lake, the falls, etc. And even though The Garrett Inn is next to a moderately busy highway, the rooms are quiet! As an added touch, there are Adirondack chairs and benches under the trees in front of the hotel, as well as benches outside each room, so relaxing outside is easy, too.

Breakfast on site would be nice, but we really didn't miss it - there is a cafe at the next intersection!

Staff was great. They allowed us to check in early. The room was clean and very well kept. A very homely feeling.

The only thing that I didn’t like was the road noise but that can’t be changed. I would return there again without hesitation. Great place.

The staff was extremely nice! The room was so clean and they gave you everything you needed. Microwave, refrigerator, extra towels, paper towels, coffee and tea and the convenience of not going up an elevator and the check in as so easy. We booked multiple places for one trip and we missed this place. We loved it. Will book again.

The room was a wonderful surprise for decoration and overall appearance. The details were amazing. What stood out the most was the detail to the room's paint! And, the bathroom fixtures appeared to be new!!

The road noise through the night, and the mattress was not the most comfortable.

Room was very clean and comfortably furnished. We had good wi fi and TV. Room was quiet. The plants outside and near the office were really beautiful

Lighting was too bright and inadequate when over bright lights were off. Coffee was really poor tasted horrible.

Very clean and well appointed with wifi, fridge & microwave. The staff is so friendly and accommodating. Sure, no view of the lake, but choice of bars restaurants right across the street. The lake is less than 5min away by car. We'll definitely be back.
