SureStay Plus Hotel by Best Western Keyser

When we booked Superstay I was looking for easy access to Dolly Sods, a place with WiFi/ microwave and fridge that is all. But we are pleasantly surprised by how welcoming the staff is, how clean and tidy the whole hotel is, it has such a positive vibe, and the fact that it is very close to all major roads with a shopping complex too in the vicinity and a gas station as added bonus, we could not have found a better place to spend 3 days. Despite being so centrally located Superstay is charming and surrounding by greenary and hills which makes it a quiet getaway too..being that it has such wonderful parks within an hours drive - Canaan Valley, Blackwater Falls, Dolly Sods, Savage River, Spruce Knob etc We explored these areas and were happy to get back to Superstay for the nights after great day hikes, especially during Covid, where it felt safe. The staff was exceptionally welcoming warm and friendly - lovely cheerful Maykayla made sure we had the kind of breakfast we needed - vegetarian, she went out to get us some delicious veggies sandwiches and avacadoes too! and the very nice and professional Susan gave us a little extra time to check out on our last day allowing us to sleep in and soak it all in, the front desk was always prompt in replying our queries, thank you Ivy! It just made the whole holiday so much more wholesome. Coming to the room itself, I want to call it the Bed and Bathroom, as I found both of them to be PERFECT! The rooms are designed very ergonomically along with fresh air circulation, and all the appliances one would need during travel. We are in fact thinking of coming back here whenever we are in this part of the country - which is GORGEOUS!

NOTHING - but maybe if there was a bed lamp one each side of the bed would have been nice...for the night readers!

Clean friendly staff

Wasn’t aware it was pet friendly at the time of booking, didn’t like listening to barking dogs. The things I requested at time of booking wasn’t available at checking in even though I got confirmation emails for them.

smelled nice as you walked into the lobby. cookies and coffee while waiting to check in. staff was extremely accommodating with all requests no matter how small. hot breakfast, crispy bacon, real waffle maker

elevator not working

The room was really clean and it didn’t smell bad like so many motels I have stayed at.

The breakfast was mediocre at best.

The room was clean and the staff was friendly. We only stayed one night, but we had everything needed to make our stay comfortable.

The room was really small and the continental breakfast was nearly non-existent. I had to buy breakfast elsewhere because the pickings were so slim.

Probably one of the cleanest hotel rooms I have ever stayed in. Very friendly and helpful staff. Could not have been more pleased with our stay.

Some other guests were a little noisy, but that's not the hotels fault.

This motel was clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly but not knowledgeable about the area and not always available. Comfy beds and adequate for a one night stay. Nice and clean!

The breakfast was very limited due to COVID19, I understand, but it was not replenished ever! At 8:45 the only thing left were dry granola bars and dry cereal (no milk). The location was quiet but weird, on an access road behind a Walmart!
