Best Western Braddock Inn

I have used this location for decades and it is very well maintained. My room was quiet, comfortable...new split unit A/C was as cool as I wanted it to be. The room is small...compact...by current standards but perfect for a travelers needs. Lots of restaurants within 2 miles range. This place is an extraordinary value. Great to have an upholstered chair to sit in and read. Great TV. I didn't get to use the pool...but it looked nice. The bed was comfortable. Access to room is through the main hallway.

The bath room is a bit small. Not sure if they have rooms which are more ADA compliant.

Everything went smoothly, from the check-in to the room to check-out. I've stayed here once before and it was amazing then, too. I was able to use the ramp at the back entrance to get to my room instead of walking up a flight of stairs. The size of the room was perfect for one person to stay the night on a road trip. The bed was even comfier than I remembered.

I wasn't able to see my rental car from my room due to the bathroom window being double-paned and wavy. I wasn't exceptionally worried, but it would have been nice. The air conditioner didn't work very well for the middle of summer, but it kept me cool when I needed it to.

Location is perfect and the pool makes it easy to relax and stay at "home" instead of running around trying to find something to do. Breakfast was actually good. Would be nice to change some things up for those of us that stay longer then a night, though . Pet friendly is a plus and no issues!!

Bathroom shower wasn't too clean with the person before us's hair stuck to the wall and ceiling. Cleaned it myself and it was fine. Toilet needed to be flushed three times just after peeing..... Hallways have an extremely heavy smell of Weed and cleaning products....

The lady at the front desk when we arrived at 10:25 pm was refreshing. She greeted us with a warm smile and explained the breakfast for us the following morning. She was very knowledgeable and even mentioned coffee 24/7. Finally a place to stay where someone is professional and enjoys their job as well. The water pressure was excellent, with shower head options as well. I also felt safe stating there.

The other checkout lady when I handed in our room cards for both King non-smoking rooms was okay. I did smell smoke outside our hotel rooms in the lobby. But not in the rooms.

The room was comfortable, nicer and larger than several other rooms at similar chains. The layouts of the hallways were unique, with trees inside the hotel.

To get to our room, we had to cut through a conference room that was a mess with carpet unsafely laying and causing a trip hazzard. Reserved the room three months in advance requesting a ground floor room (no stairs), shouldn't have had to traverse an obstacle course to get to it when other rooms should have been available. The desk clerk was less than helpful.

My husband and I travel a few times s year and I have to say Braddock Best Western was the most exceptional place we’ve ever stayed! We were highly impressed! It was beautiful (I loved the pool and patio area!) it was very clean, ALL of the staff were friendly (even the cleaning staff said good morning to us as we walked by!) The room was nicely furnished and had everything we could have needed. And breakfast! Sausage, bacon, biscuit snd sausage gravy, scrambled eggs, an assortment of bagels and danish and fresh fruit, etc. Again, the whole experience was exceptional! We were celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary and the whole weekend was perfect!

Nothing could have been improved

As always, we enjoyed the food and pool and were pleased to find the hot tub open as well. Beds and pillows were fairly comfortable. And, the front desk persons were helpful in answering our questions and accommodating our requests. The breakfast lady was friendly as well.

I don't t like the new lock system. It is hard to get into the hotel and into the room. Our room seemed smaller than last time, but we made the same room and bed size bookings.

The room was clean and comfortable. It looked like the rooms had been recently updated. The carpet looked new and there was a nice vanity in the bathroom. The breakfast was good. There was bacon and eggs, gravy and biscuits as well as cereal, bagels, pastries, yogurt, fruit, etc. Check in was very easy. There is a very nice large indoor pool that we enjoyed. The water was a comfortable temperature. The corridor to the room was 2 story and had real trees placed along it, creating a nice aesthetic. The front of the outside of the hotel looked cute and charming.

The hot tub was closed. One of the beds in our room has a spread on it with a hole in it up near the pillow. It looked like maybe a cigarette burn. We had a nonsmoking room and the room did not smell like smoke. The hotel looked like maybe it used to have an outdoor corridor which was later enclosed. The hallway to our room was not airconditioned, but the room AC worked fine. The cover on the AC controls was hanging down, not attached on one side. when I tried to reattach it, it came off completely. Overall I was satisfied with the room and our stay.

The front desk staff are all extremely friendly! The building itself is showing its age, but it's still one of the cutest and coziest hotels I've stayed in. The pool is big and has a huge skylight allowing sunlight into the space, and the sauna was very nice. The rooms were extremely clean and a good size. I expected there to be a lingering smoke smell from the smoking rooms, but the hallways smelled clean (might be thanks to all the plants they have in the building). The onsite restaurant and bar was great with amazing staff and food!

The only thing I wasn't a fan of was the breakfast, but even that was better than I was expecting. Everything else in the hotel exceeded expectations.

We were happy to find both the pool and hot tub open and enjoyed them both. We also enjoyed the hot breakfast that has a variety of options. Our room was not far from the pool or breakfast area, which we really liked. Also, the staff was very friendly and helpful.

We did not like the new lock system for the rooms and for entrance into the hotel from outside. It took several tries to get in.
