Embassy Suites by Hilton Auburn Hills

Friendly staff, pool area was clean, breakfast was a bigger selection than expected.

The few bugs I killed in the room and the kids that kept hitting hockey balls/rubber pucks at my door and down the hallway very late at night. They also took over a huge part of another hallway and not paying attention, hit my daughter with a rubber ball really hard. Yes, kids can have fun, but parents need to be a little more aware and control them in certain environments. Next time, definitely ask if any sports teams will be staying in this hotel. Staff took care of it and them.

It was an excellent surprise, despite not being a luxury hotel, it was one of the more comfortable rooms I haver stayed in, spacious, clean and with a great bathroom and a very useful working area. The breakfast (specially the omeletes) was great, friendly staff and a relaxed atmosphere better enjoyed with one of the two daily complementary cocktails down at the bar.

It is not the hotel's fault (the region is like that) but it is not easy to walk around, everything is quite far away and Ubers take an average of 15/20 minutes just to pick you up. I would recommend rent a car if you don't drive there.

This hotel is in a good location. We recieved two free complimentary drinks and continental breakfast. Large lobby area to lounge and relax. I had a king suite room which was nice and spacious. There was only one working elevator the other one was broken which was a minor inconvenience being as there was a large event going on and it was crowded. I tried to use the stairs but it looked like it was emergency exit only so waited for the elevator instead. Overall had a good stay.

The front desk staff was friendly and welcoming. We appreciated the lobby openness. The rooms were big and well spaced. We loved the complimentary drink. The restaurant dinner was delicious (burger and chicken pesto) and our server Trevor went above and beyond to make our experience enjoyable!

The pool was insane... There was a large group family there, and the kids were breaking rules, jumping and diving and pushing and screaming incessantly. The room could use some updating, such as the window blind rollers had stains as well as the carpet and the couches, but the bed was comfortable and the bathroom was very clean.

I loved that it was clean and the bathroom layout was really good. I also appreciated that the bedroom and the living room were seperated. The bed was so comfortable, like sleeping on a cloud! We were attending a concert close by and the Embassy Suites was only a litlle more than 9 miles away, as well as being in close, convenient proximity to the highway. We didn't stay long enough to get familiar with the area, but would love to visit again sometime, staying a little longer.

There were no plastic trash bags in the waste cans. We used a grocery bag that we had brought with us. Everything else was lovely.

I loved the size of the room, the separate living area from the bedroom, the free breakfast was yummy. I had a nice view and they were quick to respond to questions sent over this platform. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. I am happy that they were able to allocate 2 rooms next to each other since I was traveling with a friend. The music played in the lobby was hit after hit!

Because I was eating breakfast alone, I got up to grab a drink after setting my food down since my hands were full. When I returned, a staff member had thrown my breakfast away....then I had to set my drink down and pray they didn't throw that away also. The room was pretty far from the elevator and the hallways don't get air conditioned very well since it's an open atrium. The restaurant didn't seem to be staffed properly and there wasn't a clear indication of where to go to get service.

They closed the breakfast a few minutes early and once we got there they only had cantaloupe left for fruit but all the food was very good besides that! Also, they offer milk at breakfast but the night before I asked for a cup of milk and they charged me $3 for milk for my son that was a bummer aswell. The pool area had such strong chlorine that even being in the pool room burned my eyes and I was not able to swim

We liked the staff! Everyone was so friendly and helpful. The food was very good. And had the best omelet station. He didn't mix up the orders and was quick. Also, the front desk always spoke when you came in. It's the little things for us that makes our stay.

The bathroom sink seemed like it needed to be uncloged. And the wallpaper in the bathroom was peeling from the bottom. Other than that, everything was very good.

There was a bar and restaurant onsite. This made our trip a lot easier. We were tired from driving and didn't feel like getting back into the car to find a place to eat. The breakfast was fabulous! As was the staff

The pool and hit tub desperately needed a cleaning. They both were dingy. There was multiple hair pins and hair ties laying around... Along with an occasional band aid. Our pull out sofa was broken and a roll away bed had to be brought in. There was a crack in the ceiling and a hoke in the closet door.

Ok. So I screwed up the reservation and didn't request a balcony and asked the staff if they had any rooms with balconies available and they switched me right up w.no problem. Thank you ladies you saved my butt! The entire hotel is awesome! The restaurant- bar downstairs is wonderful as well and serves excellent food and several beers on tap and makes excellent drinks also! The housekeeping staff did an excellent job on keeping me supplied w.towels and soap etc. And the room was so clean and beautiful. Having a bed room bathroom and a separate living room was so nice I could let my wife sleep in or go to bed early without disturbing her. 10 out of 10.

Nothing I didn't like about this place.
