Red Roof Inn Detroit-Rochester Hills/ Auburn Hills

Staff is very friendly and helpful. I am on the quiet side of the hotel. Bed is comfy with oversized pillows. I feel safe with night desk clerk (tall black man) walking around the property late @ night & early morning. He is always friendly to me when I am walking my dogs.

GM needs to be more resident friendly. He huffs and puffs with his boot on walking around and thinks he owns the world and is not friendly at all. He is more enamored with being on his phone than caring for anyone in the hotel. He acts quite uppity and that is the wrong message to send when I am more disabled than him.

Pet friendly. Red Roof does not charge an extra fee for pets unlike all other motels. The property is an older facility which has been remodeled. I was satisfied with room. If someone is looking for new and fancy room, this wouldn't be the place for them. Not all of the rooms have a fridge and microwave so if you want those items, make sure you select a room with those options.

Seemed to be short on towels and wash rags. I had brought some of my own so I was OK.

We’ve stayed at this particular Red Roof on many occasions while in the Rochester area. It’s easy on-and-off the expressway. There’s woodland behind the hotel which muffles much of the traffic. Shopping and restaurants of all kinds are nearby.

Privacy , walk to my door without walking though a lobby and everyone knowing when I come and go.. very nice housekeeping staff Ms. V,,, was super nice and my room was clean and im a housekeeper for a vacation resort company. I know what clean is. Very pleased

I was surprised, I expected an older dirtier place, it was very nice very clean, not a party hotel very quiet. Staff was friendly and when I asked I received with no problems or attitudes. I will stay here again in I go back to the area. Also love the privacy of going to my room and leaving without walking through a lobby.. very nice stay

There was a young lady whose name started with a J was extremely helpful. She was beyond pleasant and helped us get a room that would work due to the fact there was no handicapped rooms available. She even had us check our room to make sure we were satisfied.

Clean. Attention to detail. Cleaning staff should be complemented for a job well done.

Nothing to complain. Stayed at a hotel this past weekend that I paid more for and was not as nice.

The supplies in the room are not consistent. This past stay there was no hand soap in our room.
