Holiday Inn Express Rochester Hills, an IHG Hotel

Tony was very helpful and informative about surrounding restaurants and stores for our needs. He's gives fantastic customer service. He did a great job multitasking by checking guests in and making fresh coffee. I would book again at that hotel because of the way he took care of me and my family. The breakfast was fantastic and greatly appreciated. The room was clean and tidy

the downfall was that the hotel had a musky moldy smell on the way to our 306/304 rooms, but the angel was gone by the morning, but that could've been due to the warm breakfast that was being cooked that masked the smell - my guess on the smell is years of guests walking back and forth from the pool to their rooms so maybe an upgrade to laminate flooring instead of the carpet

I liked that it was super clean, big rooms with everything you need in them. Breakfast was great and lots of variety.. Staff was friendly, over all the best hotel stay I’ve had in a long time.

What I didn’t like was that I could really hear everyone walking through the halls being loud when having conversations and also that I could hear the room above me being really loud and bed squeaking while they did their business, but I guess that’s out of the hotels control lol… Other than that I have no complaints.

This was our anniversary trip, it was noted on our reservation. We were told Happy Anniversary repeatedly by different staff through out our stay and it was so nice. The room and hotel was clean. It was within minutes of everywhere we wanted to be, and it was a great price for the area. We will be back!

That it was so close to my destination. Love the Keurig coffee pot, so I didn't have to go without coffee.

That I had to leave before breakfast was available. I had to park on the opposite side of the building to where my car was

Our stay was wonderful! Because of covid restrictions we couldn’t do much, no pool, no dine in restaurants. Breakfast was grab and go...yogurt, apple, breakfast bar. That’s not anybody’s fault, it’s just an FYI. I would definitely come back, and I will definitely recommend to anyone.

I did not like how hard the floors were, no padding in the room or hallways. You hear every footstep.

Easy to find off of M59. Staff was friendly and engaging at every point of contact. Big room. Clean. Good TV and channels. Fairly quiet. Breakfast was good with ample selections of hot items. Great Coffee.

Hand soap wasn't in the bath but quickly corrected. Very minor.

Breakfast was excellent We had children and the selection was varied enough for everyone

Did notice dust bunnies on the ceiling in room

Room was nice. Liked the design of the large luggage shelf under TV. Breakfast area was large and comfortable; breakfast was fine.

Bathroom had lots of the previous occupant's hair.

The hot breakfast items looked like they’d been microwaved and had been sitting too long

The breakfast and location were good. Was a wee bit disappointed there was no bacon. Otherwise it was great with plenty of selections.

The room was smelly and I did inform the desk.
