Sonesta Select Detroit Auburn Hills

Booking.com said I could upgrade my room for a small fee but Sonesta didn't get the correct price booking.com stated. However Bob at the front desk took a look at my reservation and adjusted my price to what it was supposed to be. Great customer service. The room was very nice and the courtyard. The room had a microwave and refrigerator which is great. Clean bathroom and comfortable beds. I will stay again at Sonesta property again

Could of used an extra blanket but we just adjusted.the temp in the room.

The staff was very attentive to all our needs, they were very nice on both shifts. It was nice and clean in the pool area and the whole facility was clean. I will return with my family again. The room service was quick and the vending area was nice and clean I really had a great experience. I even sat in the lounge area and watched a few of my shows. Best experience I've had in a while. I totally chose the right place to stay for my birthday weekend.

No complaints EVERYTHING WAS VERY VERY NICE AND CLEAN AND THE STAFF WAS ON POINT TO ASSIST

The hotel was nice, but what really stood out for me was the staff. My mother became extremely ill while staying there, and the staff went above and beyond to make sure I was okay. After spending the night in the emergency room, I was expecting to come back to the chaos we left the room in after the EMS took my mother to the hospital. Not only was the room spotless, but the staff left me a sweet note of support and encouragement. It meant the world to me. They suggested a late check out because we were unsure when Mom would be released. I later extended my stay when it looked like she was being admitted. It was late in the evening when I ended up having to return home. Even though they could have, they did not charge me for the day. They were supportive and caring and made what was a devastating trip a little bit easier. I can't thank them enough.

Convenient access to restaurants, Great Lakes Crossing, Chrysler headquarters etc... Hotel sits right off of busy I-75 which is a cool effect for me, but could be a little loud for some. Staff was awesome and helpful. Good value for sure.

Rooms didn't have a microwave which was a bummer, but didn't mind going to lobby to use it. Toilets seem to flush rather slow and had one back up on us. I asked to use the plunger and got the job done!

We had an excellent weekend at Sonesta Select. Was such a relaxing environment that we really needed and very much appreciated. The staff was excellent, very kind, and on point. The room was very comfortable, clean, & as described. The entire property was well kept and welcoming. Waking late and hitting the pool, that we surprisingly had all to ourselves was a perfect to start our weekend. We have nothing but good things to say about our stay. We will be back when returning to the area.

Our proximity to where we parked to our room was great. The concierge was so helpful. We had a relaxing stay. We went swimming and worked out. Beds were very comfortable. We had forgotten toothbrushes and toothpaste. They gave them to us. Overall we had a great stay with the exception stated in the section of what I didn't like of this survey.

My son was at the state wrestling competition in Detroit at Ford Field. On Thursday he stayed with his teammates and coaches in Detroit but on Friday he was coming to stay with us (mom, dad, aunt & uncle) in our room) . I called to get a rollaway bed for him and was told no. Luckily his team were still at their hotel in Detroit. We took him back to stay there. Accommodations for this last minute situation would have been nice.

Room was perfect for our short stay and the pool was fantastic for our little guy.

It's not the hotels fault but the pool was left in such a mess from previous people with garbage and wet towels everywhere. Perhaps someone from the hotel should go in more often to clean up. Someone did come in to stock the towels but he didn't pick up any of the old towels that were laying around.

The facility was a surprise when we walked in. So clean and the staff was very quick to greet us and let us know they would be with us as soon as they were done with the guest before. They pointed out special amenities and gave clear instructions for our room and out stay. The room was perfect. It had everything we needed.

Rooms are spacious, courtyard access from our room was nice, beds are comfortable, Starbucks on site.

Wasn't told until I arrived that I would have an additional $ 100 charged for incidentals and then refunded later. Breakfast selection is very limiter (but plenty of places nearby). No final receipt received at checkout...wasnt emailed either ...had to call to get it.

Everything was clean and the beds were very comfy. The bathroom was very clean and loved the balcony.

I didn't appreciate the attitude of the guy I checked in with. Basically he was a jerk about the 100.00 deposit that I was not aware of. He was rude and said he could cancel my reservation if I have a problem. Not good customer service at all!
