Hampton Inn & Suites Detroit-Canton

The location was perfect for me as I went to IKEA and restaurants were near by. Also, it was close to the highway. The staff was very friendly.

Breakfast was not good for me as I don't eat grains or sugar, so there was nothing I could eat.

Good location, receptionists were friendly for the most part. Good breakfast. I would stay here again.

My early check in- a day early that I was willing to pay for- was cancelled by the night staff when I didn't arrive by midnight. My red eye flight arrived at 5. The hotel's check in is 3pm. When I got there, I had no reservation at all. I was forced to get on the phone with booking.com, who called the hotel, then booking called me back, all to say I had to rebook the entire stay on booking, which was approved by the hotel on the spot. They could have just approved the stay when I got there.

The hotel was clean and we had a spacious room. All staff we interacted with were friendly and helpful. Since the pool was closed, they directed us to a fitness center that was included in our stay. The pool was huge and the kids loved it. The fitness center looked amazing.

The breakfast was just ok. The eggs were microwaved chunks, and the selection of fruit was very minimal. The front desk told us we could not get a roll away bed because it was a fire hazard, however, we had a suite and it was huge. If a suite could not accommodate a roll away bed, I wonder which rooms could? We ended up with a kid sleeping on the floor for the two night stay. Overall, we would stay here again. The positives outweigh the negatives.

The fella at check-in was completely welcoming warm and accommodating even at 1:00 a.m.. the breakfast although limited was wonderful and delicious

The bed was sloped, like the mattress is completely worn. and I constantly was sliding over all night.

They would Not Shovel the side walk. I asked they 2 time ..I even said I shovel it. The lady at the front deck said they snow blow it. I have Pic. of what it look like .I was there 4 days Friday- Tuesday NO SHOVEL and it would be so easy. I did see the guy out side shoveling the ramp for the Employees and put salt down . But not for the Customers. .... Its just my wife had a Hard time walking in the snow. I like this place I come every month for family reason. look me up Joe Armstrong

The people at the front desk were very friendly to my family and my friends. I was very appreciative to that and we had a great time. Thank you so much. We will definitely come back to this place.

It was very clean. Everything was well taken care of. Everything was in order. It was just all in all a very, very clean place.

The room was very comfortable, and the staff was nice and helpful as well. They provided a free shuttle to the hotel from the airport upon my request. They would've even given me a free shuttle again to the airport then next day after check-out, had I requested them 24 hours in advance. The location was great, right off I-275, just 20 minutes from the airport. I had some nice views from my room.

In my room, the remote didn't have the option of showing the list of all available channels. I had to keep moving from one to the next to the next and so on (by pressing the "next" button repeatedly), without any knowledge of how many and what channels existed.

Everyone was pleasant, you had a swimming pool that was open till 10:00 and had a weight room 24 hours

The rooms didn't have big enough trash bags for the trash containers. And during breakfast hours no toppings for the waffles. It would be nice if you had some toppings for the waffles I don't care if they were frozen, with some whipped cream

I loved the cleanliness and functionality of the in-room jetted tub and the very comfortable, clean king-size bed and linen. The location is perfect, it's near a variety of shopping and restaurants. I felt physically safe and it was quiet.

The ATM machine in the lobby was out of order. The front desk attendant did explain that she didn't know who maintains the ATM machine and she did apologize for the inconvenience. I ended up driving to a nearby gas station for an ATM.

We loved the place, it was clean and up to date. The staff were very nice, respectful, and welcoming. The scene of the Hotel was comfortable and safe. Very wonderful place to stay.
