Fairfield Inn & Suites Detroit Metro Airport Romulus

I was visiting because I was in town to do a memorial service for my father. The staff members at the front desk were extremely helpful and nice. They helped me a lot with deliveries and with things needed for my father's memorial service and so much more. Whenever I needed assistance, they went over and beyond. I also thought the facilities offered a lot for my family and I. I would definitely go back.

Having a 5 night stay, I really did not care for the breakfast nor the fact that it was served on styrofoam plates. I would have appreciated more variety and a friendlier kitchen staff. The shower door in our room did not close all the way, so showers were messy.

The location was very convenient for us to catch an early morning flight at Detroit Metro airport. We had a handicap room, which provided lots of grab bars and safety features for my husband, who uses a wheelchair. iIt was very convenient for returning our rental car the night before leaving town.

The shower in the handicap bathroom had a short shower curtain, so water from the shower got all over the floor. It was actually MORE dangerous than if my husband had just had to step into a tub. Very slippery. Also, the bathroom had very little counter space for two people (that’s where the coffee maker was, too), so there was actually no place for me to use a curling iron with a mirror to curl my hair other than for me to sit on the bedroom floor and use the full-length mirror. I’m 68 years old, so this was not easy for me.

Relationship with Quik Park was excellent.

AC unit was extremely loud - needs fixed as it was difficult to sleep. Walk in shower leaked water over the threshold despite every attempt to prevent it as there was no raised section on the outside of the threshold to prevent water from falling out and creating a pool of water in front of the shower that we had to mop up with the bathmat. Room 136. No eggs or sausage when we went down for breakfast around 6:45am.

Location was good. Surround with plenty of restaurants n local stores and close to airport n easy exit to Expressway. Also 12- 15 min from a walmart n shopping center

Breakfast need to be more value to choose from , there wasn't no fruits no eggs or pancakes. Need to step up there menu

The brakes was OK. We did get full. We didn't have to go to the craker barrel. As we thought. We saved money. When we walked to the desk to sign in, it smelled so fresh and clean. Your staff worked so hard to make everything nice. It was our 57th anniversary. Celebration.

Great location to the airport and we use the shuttle. The staff was friendly and helpful. They gave us a breakfast bag in the morning which was super because that’s what we eat for lunch. We were directed to local restaurants that we could walk to from the facility.

Nothing we enjoyed our stay.

Comfortable, clean rooms. Very friendly staff. Shuttle service to the airport was punctual and professional.

Was a little disappointed that the pool was closed. But was not a deal breaker.

The beds were comfy and the staff was very nice.

Our shower smelled like vomit so no one opened the door or used it.

I booked a room with a king, went up to the room after a 14 hour day, and found 2 queens, back down to the lobby and we were reassigned. But staff was very apologetic!

The clean room was a plus, and the pool area was perfect for the weekend
