friendly counter staff. blonde woman with an accent was incredibly friendly and made me feel welcome. a warm sincere welcome. the BREAKfast was the best I’ve seen so far at a hotel in Lansing, and I’ve stayed at several. VERY clean. good fresh and large variety. the woman working in the breakfast area greeted me helped me and was happy to offer help and give receive ideas with the waffle maker. Mixed Heath bar crumbles into the waffle mix and made waffle. it was excellent. the room was very clean. bed spread comfortable and and mattress comfy. walking distance from Applebees meijer and Kroger will definitely stay here again!

We had a difficult road trip up to my alma mater, MSU. But even though we got in at 2 in the morning, Patricia who was on duty was so gracious and welcoming! She noticed I was on crutches, and before we could even ask, she upgraded us to an accessible room, which also was perfect for having 3 kids, including a 1 year old. The breakfast had tons of options (chocolate waffles!) The pool was warm and had pool noodles for the kids. With a serious leg injury, sleeping could have been difficult, but I fell asleep quickly and comfortably in the bed. And even the housekeeping staff was friendly and engaging with my kids. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Nothing. Everything was great. Even though we were near the entrance, the noise level was always low and my toddler was able to easily take her nap and go to bed at night.

Cleanliness of our room and hotel, Beds, Breakfast, staff, especially the black gentlemen managing the breakfast area. He was an exceptional staff member who we witness go the extra mile multiple times while we sat and ate breakfast. He especially made us feel welcomed and cared for.

We would have liked a hot tub. Would be nice to have a hotel shuttle if we didn't want to drive somewhere local in our car. It would be nice if there was just a little more room from the bed to the desk, you can barely move away from the desk without hitting the bed and it is difficult for someone to walk behind the desk chair if someone is sitting in it or it is pulled away from the desk. It would be nice to have a happy hour in the dining room with snacks or pizza in the evening.

the breakfast was excellent,the addition of donuts would be great-when your out of town it's nice to splurge on calories. Our room was clean and nice.

The beds were horrible,very firm. We stayed at a less desirable hotel the week before and even they had better mattresses. People congregating in the pool area all evening Saturday was a a disappointing(nobody was swimming-just hogging all the tables and loungers)which made us unable to use the pool area(they were eating and drinking by the pool((clearly stated on the pool rules;that was not allowed))Staff should have escorted them to the nice lobby area with seating.

The breakfast attendant, Sunday morning, was very helpful to everyone, kind and interactive with all the guests. As far as the staff I encountered, she shined out!

I couldn’t figure out how to let the bathroom lights on but I knew from checkin that there was “something “ different with them. She talked very fast, was young and probably just needs a little more experience in guest interactions. However; I could have asked her to repeat herself but I did not. I finally figured it out in time to take our showers in the next morning.

We love staying at Hampton Inns when we travel- the customer service, accommodations, & breakfast are always very nice! Our room was very spacious, & the bathroom had an updated glass shower. The energy efficient light system in the room is a great idea!

I’ve never been this uncomfortable in a hotel bed. It made an odd creaking sound just getting in & out of it, as well as repositioning. It was pretty distracting when trying to sleep. Plus the mattress was extremely hard & uncomfortable. I didn’t sleep well & woke up sore.

Breakfast was good. Staff were helpful, responsive and professionally interested in guest comfort. The blackout curtains were easy to maneuver.

The outside entrance doors should work more consistently better. Key cards had to be inserted more than once, or help from staff had to be obtained, for keys to work. This very much negated the accommodation of rooms by entrances I secured for my 89 and 91 year old folks.

My room was very clean; bathroom was great. I like everything inside the hotel room.

1. Front desk, lobby, elevators were not clean. 2. Elevators were smelly; appeared to need maintenance as well. 3. My next door guest was extremely loud late at night and slammed the door many times at midnight, which kept me awake. Loud music in the early morning from the same room. 4. Parking was not well designed .

Very nice hotel! Wonderful staff! Very clean and comfortable room. The rest of the hotel was clean and well maintained also. The breakfast was very good. The woman hosting breakfast was great!

The only issue was the condition of the back parking lot, kinda rough, a little difficult for someone not too steady on their feet.

Staff was awesome, gentleman working in the kitchen area was so very nice and helpful. Great sense of humor.

Having to ask for clean towells, more coffee, and cups every day since the room was not restocked daily. That being said, the desk staff was more than willing to gove us the supplies when we asked.
