Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Lansing at Eastwood

The location of the property is conveniently located near various shopping experiences. The Inn is one of the cleanest that we have ever stayed at and the staff were extremely friendly. The breakfast had several options, including delicious mini waffles! Coffee service is available 24-7.

The heating/air conditioning unit was difficult to control- it either blew out cold air or hot air, but the automatic function did not kick in. The benches in the lobby are getting a little worn out, likely from all the cleaning solutions that have had to be utilized on them. The first round of food put out at breakfast was sub-par, with water logged sausages and over cooked eggs.

The property was clean and Mr. Willis at the front desk was exceptional to work with. He was friendly kind and very helpful when we were having problems with the Booking.Com reservation. The parking was excellent too….we were hauling a trailer.

We had a short stay here but I really didn’t find anything I didn’t like about the property!

Location perfect for us to be near family and friends. Great breakfast lounge and food was very good!! Nice patio outside, which we utilized.

Not a big issue, but a larger chair in room would have been comfortable, as we were there most of a week.

The breakfast was good. Pretty good variety and something added different every morning. Rooms were very clean, fresh clean towels everyday and basic toiletries were provided which was nice. Staff was very accommodating and helpful.

they had us sign a “no party policy”- we were there with our youth baseball team- but there was a bachelorette party there that was up in the parking lot partying and drinking all night- we couldn’t have our boys playing in the pool- but they allowed this to go on.. The pool is also very tiny.

Looked clean - except shower where Hair was found from previous people. It was Obvious and should have been cleaned better and TV remote as well just looked dirty ….I always chlorox wipe things down wherever I stay. Place overall (lobby) looked clean and very quiet place. Friendly receptionists.

The hotel is right by the Eastwood Mall where there are nice restaurants and shops. Walking distance to the mall and entertainment center.

A little too close to the highway.

Breakfast was the best I've had in years for a free breakfast. Biscuits were super soft and fluffy. The gravy was as close to grandmas as you're going to get for commercial food. It was great!! Then they had breakfast sandwiches that were amazing. Along with drinks, fruit, and many other options to choose from. I loved that a server was serving the biscuits and gravy, so I knew that people weren't being unsafe.

The pillows could've been better. We usually bring our own because its hard to find a good pillow at a motel. Although, we have been seeing more and more motels with nicer pillows, this place did not have the ones we prefer. Also, bathrooms are a big one for the wife and I. We had to upgrade the room to be able to have a glass door shower. Seemed like the shower was the only upgrade they did to the king suite. It was a normal size room, with a nice bathroom.

Excellent hotel. They had to shut the pool down for a code. Unfortunately I booked that hotel for the pool. It’s not just a Fairfield issue it happens every time since covid. High recommend and the breakfast bar is awesome!

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The room was very spacious and clean.

Only ice machine that was working was on the 3rd floor. I had to walk quite a bit to get to it.
