the rooms were clean

the pool area was dirty. The hot tub didn’t work we told the front desk staff and they said it’s working it just has to cycle…. I said I don’t think so it’s freezing. it never worked. I had 3 rooms revered for my sons birthday. my 7 year old was super excited and ran down the hall to the other room where my sister and kids were staying and one of the front desk people came up and yelled at him for running in the hallway. I get it if it’s the middle of the night and they’re running back and forth but it was 3pm and he ran to their room and back. another family had taken over the breakfast area we’re having a Christmas party. they didn’t have room keys so put towels in the door to have access to the pool area. we ended up having pizza and cake in our room because there were no tables.

Good variety of breakfast choices. Comfortable bed and nice that there was a spot to put both our suitcases. Modern, clean room. Plenty of towels and JR Watkins products in bathroom.

We prefer to have blackout curtains in our hotel room over having roller blinds because blinds let in some light. No other issues than that.

A very nice hotel with friendly, helpful staff, and a clean room.

We were not able to get into our room, the key card did not work, we had to return to the lobby 3 times and finally be let into our room. Please remind guests to return room key cards to prevent this from happening.

Nice clean newer looking hotel. We had two rooms one for my parents and one for us and the kids. Both rooms were comfortable and clean. Front desk staff all girls up front were super nice and accommodating. From Riley at check in to the night girl who helped my family with the towels for the pool and the morning girl who helped with my key card. Breakfast was also wonderful I will be coming back. My daughter attended Grand Valley State University we were here for her graduation. Thank You Holiday Inn Grandville MI for making our families time here well worth it. #GVSU 2021! Go Lakers!

Nothing! No issues or complaints loved my stay.

Breakfast was fantastic. Enjoyed the hot tub. Easy check in. Our room window faced the expressway and yet it was sound proof.

The douvey (spelling?) was too warm to sleep under. We would have liked to have had a light blanket as an option.

kid’s soccer tournament, so ya he place was packed. which is fine, but kids constantly running up & down the stairs, playing soccer in the halls until 3am, with the parents watching them while they had cocktails. staff did nothing.

I cant stress enough how phenomenal the front desk manager and her staff are. From the moment we arrived, all 13 of us... they were so happy and eager to accommodate our needs. They helped me heat the food for my daughter's birthday party, they kept the cake in their personal freezer, they were flexible about our pool slot, and were even able to get us checked in a bit early when we arrived with all of our stuff. They were just so wonderful to work with. This staff makes up for any lack of grandiose facility that any other mid level hotel might have. The kids had a great time. I felt welcomed here. So Thank you to the staff! They are 100% of the reason behind this review.

Everything was great. No complaints.

Better than what we expected. Took the kids here for a last minute, end of spring break trip. Pool was clean and well maintained. The staff was so warm, friendly and welcoming as well as accommodating to whatever needs pop up. Becca at the front desk definitely goes above and beyond with a great attitude about everything and anything. Pretty sure our 9 year old developed a crush on her. Haha! She was absolutely wonderful.

The breakfast situation was a little weird but during these times its to be expected.

They had had hot breakfast every morning. But, I missed it lol

This African American guy was very very rude to me and my boyfriend. Also, he didn't know how to communicate right. I never ever wanna come back there because of him.

The rooms were nice and clean. I love that you have a bench (?) to set luggage on and can hang items above it. Breakfast was good. We were close to everything we wanted to do and had a very nice time.
