Amway Grand Plaza Hotel, Curio Collection by Hilton

The hotel check in staff were extremely nice and helpful. The location is amazing, there are many attractions within walking distance. Having restaurants, a gift shop and a Starbucks within the hotel exceeds convenience expectations.

We didn't like that there were people sleeping on the skywalk on the way into the parking garage the following morning. We were surprised security didn't have the area cleared out.

Absolutely beautiful with a wonderful staff and very clean.

That you guys don't rent the kitchen at a cheap rate. That way the restaurant with the bowling alley could serve some kind of food.  Your guest assume that it's part of your facility they don't realize that that restaurant is rented separately. It just looks bad on you guys.

What’s not to love!? Beautiful place with an incredible view from the room and top drawer staff. The view of the river with all the pretty bridges and the Gerald R Ford presidential museum were a special treat to see as well as the Gerald and Betty Ford banquet room…

It was not the property‘s fault but we would’ve loved to be able to have breakfast in bed… I’m sure next time room service will be available. I’ve bent over backwards to make everything comfortable otherwise.

The hotel was very nice and big. The room was a great size and had a wonderful view of the river. The soaps included were of good quality. Lots of restaurants and bars nearby

The walls in the bedroom was very thin. Could hear the people next door store at 6:30am. The AC kept kicking off and on and made a noise.

Breakfast did not meet expectations. There could be tastier options on the menu like a variety of omelettes, Turkey sausage. Bacon is not for everyone. Also pastries are too sweet (muffins, cinammon rolls). It could also be more affordable. The hotel stay is not cheap but having a good breakfast is an incentive to come back.

The Amway is a beautiful hotel in walking distance from great restaurants and museums and is accessible through the sky walk so you don’t have the brave the cold Grand Rapids winter to enjoy the city!

I got a message to do contactless check in but it was not explained how to do that. The bed was very hard and the only toiletries in our room were conditioner and body lotion.

We always love staying at the Amway when we come to town for a concert. Being able to walk to Van Andel through the skywalk is why we initially chose this hotel. When I saw how beautiful the historic portion of the hotel was I fell in love. What a treasure! So glad they have not changed it.

Could be better signs directing guests from the lobby to the elevators in the parking garage as we got lost trying to leave and a kind stranger helped point us to an elevator that seemed almost hidden.

It was comfortable, the staff was extra nice and helpful including The Kitchen and Starbucks staff! Loved the hot tub! Wanted to stay longer!

The store could be stocked with more beer and some other alcoholic beverages other than wine and beer. But the wine worked since I am not a beer drinkers

The room was great! I was bumped up to a river view room in the tower, very appreciated. It was a great view from the 13th floor.

What was inconvenient was parking. Not only was it quite far away, but I was supposed to have validated parking and that didn't happen. I was charged $84.oo for the two nights. Then there wasn't anyone to help at the parking ramp when we buzzed the intercom. So that was very frustrating. I'm still trying to get that charge reversed.

Room and adjacent areas were great. Excellent view of the grand rapids skyline and wonderfully located in the heart of grand rapids. Planning on staying here again.

Wish there was a more modestly prices restaurant within the building aside from Starbucks that a family could enjoy without spending $100+ for 3 people
