LivINN Hotel Minneapolis South / Burnsville

The facility was easy to get in and out of to a main road. The breakfast was great and changed each day.

The toilet stopped working on the third day and was promised it would be fixed by the evening. I returned and it was not. The staff did agree to move me to another room after I complained. What I noticed was that I had fierce headaches in the first room and it smelled musty/mildewy. However, in the second room on second floor, I did not experience any problems with smell on my last night as well as my return. I'd suggest you check out the room for mold.

I stayed here to go to a couple of concerts in Minneapolis over a weekend, and it was absolutely perfect. I had a rental car and the drive into the city couldn't have been easier, a quick 20 minutes on the highway in either direction. The staff was super friendly and my room was clean and comfortable. My room was on the ground floor with a window straight out to the parking lot, but I was able to keep the blinds closed the whole time because there was a huge skylight in the ceiling that gave more than enough light. It was a great setup! I didn't spend that much time in the hotel, and didn't get to try their breakfast because of timing,, but I highly recommend it if you are renting a car! Otherwise it might be a bit remote.

Becky the front desk person was amazing. I was driving a 26 foot U-Haul with a trailer and she went outside and directed me to a spot I could park because everyone in the truck parking area was spread out so much that I couldn't get in. She was so friendly and helpful. I don't know what she gets payed there but it needs to be more. The last hotel we were at the night before the last one the front desk man was rude, inconsiderate, and just unpleasant so it was so refreshing to have a great experience. The rom was a little small but it was comfortable

The bathtub was very very small.

This hotel stay was a very pleasant surprise! It is an older hotel, but the facilities have been nicely upgraded. The hotel was clean and the breakfast selections were adequate. The breakfast seating area was bright, cheerful and had plug ins and charging outlets right at the tables. The rooms themselves were spacious with lots of plug ins for anything needing to be plugged in. We found the hotel to be very centrally located to downtown Minneapolis, Burnsville, Eagan, Apple Valley and Lakeville areas. The hotel is right off the interstate and even though our room faced the highway, our sleep was not interrupted by highway noise. The staff was pleasant and very helpful with Clive's Roadhouse right next door and a Denny's within walking distance.

There was a designated smoking area right outside the side door which was gross if you needed to use that entryway. Also, there are only 2 washers and dryers for the guests, which can make doing laundry difficult.

The room, while not huge, was large enough for 2. It had 2 closets which was nice for my daughter and I. The bathroom was nice and large with plenty of towels and wash clothes. The beds were very comfortable. Nice bedding and plenty of large pillows. The air conditioner was adequate for the room and quiet. I would suggest asking for a room on the back side of the hotel away from the freeway. The breakfast was excellent. Fresh-made pancakes, eggs, and sausage. Plenty of bread, bagel, and fruit choices. The breakfast eating room is brand new, has plenty of space and has lovely art pieces and decoration. A TV is available for viewing.

The bathroom sink drained very slowly, but we reported it and they are working on repairing the issue.

From the minute we arrived to when we checked out, the staff were so kind and helpful. They made us feel very welcome. Our room and the common areas of the hotel were clean. The breakfast was great as well. Lots of selection for food and a nice big seating area. Being off of the interstate was very convenient for traveling around the city. I was nervous about highway noise when booking, but it was a very quiet stay. I highly recommend this place!

Can’t think of any negatives. Our stay was great!

Facility was well kept/maintained

The lady who checked me on Saturday gave me an attitude which i wasn't supposed to be part of. She was having issues with checking in previous guests and when it was my turn and literally asked one question, she was like "please stop making my day harder l, am already having a bad day". I never said a word after that. Wth. Should have asked how my day was too and maybe it was worse than she had. It didn't go well with me at all, the guests behind me even talked to me on the elevator asking if i was ok and what happened, told them i have no idea just got caught in between some shenanigans I am not related to. Well sorry had to share. It is what it is

Perfect location to stay for an event in Burnsville. it is right off the freeway so easy to find too! The hotel was very clean and beds were comfy! The only negative is I got there around 240 and was told I had to wait until 3pm to check in otherwise would get charged $40 for early check in..I found that odd but just went and ran some errands. I will definitely stay here again if I have a concert or event to attend nearby! Uber was under $12 to get to the Buck Hill Ski Resort :)

There was some mold in the bathtub- shower chair. Other than that it was great especially for the price!

Staff. Location. Quietness of room location. Breakfast choices were plenty. Gas and food locations nearby. Did not hear a lot of hallway noise from other guests. Laundry onsite.

Mix up with cleaning of room, leading to skipped cleaning. 1 cleaning, 20 day stay. Incidentals hold was only released after calling back 1 week after checkout. Will not be released until a total 15 more days form the day I called. Total Hold: 45 days from stay.

very clean and quiet property. staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. I’ve stayed here quite often a couple years ago and everything was just as nice and comfortable. the staff really goes out of its way to make the experience very enjoyable and welcoming. for me personally it felt like coming home especially to see my favorite front desk person still there!

nothing I had a very enjoyable and relaxing experience again this visit.
