The location was convenient to the wedding we were going to in Bay St Louis and it looked like they were making lots of upgrades to the property, we noticed them cleaning regularly. I would recommend this spot as a great budget accommodation. Close to a gas station as well so easy to fuel up grab water and get on the road.

The outside of the building is in poor shape and needs a facelift so I was wary walking in, thinking the inside may be just as busted as the outside. No refund on my reservation if I had needed it which is insane nowadays.

I loved the help I received in bringing my items from my motorcycle to my 2nd floor room. Because I got the last available room, I was allowed to park my motorcycle in the driveway under the cover. The staff is excellent. Unfortunately, at 8:15, when I came for breakfast, no hot items were available, but I was able to enjoy fresh fruit and yogurt with a cup of hot coffee.

An elevator would have been helpful as I had multiple smaller pieces of "luggage", but the staff helped me so that multiple trips were not needed.

The woman that checked us in, Karen, was exceptionally friendly!! The room was large. The bed was super soft which is normally quite the opposite in the "more affordable" range. It was too soft therefore not supportive for someone like me that has serious back problems. Breakfast had waffles but no waffle iron spray so the majority of the waffle stayed in said iron. Still edible but also would have been satisfying to pull out a complete waffle.

It claimed to be smoke free but it CLEARLY was a smoking room at one point. That doesn't bother me, but it could bother some. There were some things that could be fixed ie caulking, paint peeling, matching and or functional lamps and attaching the smoke detector to the ceiling (it was hanging by the wires from the ceiling) but it really wasn't that big of a deal. We just needed a day away from the real world! Also we only received shampoo and a bar of soap for toiletries. Again not a big deal, just worth pointing out . I cleaned out the filter to my air conditioner because it's struggling to cool off. It was overly dirty. The jets in the tub were incredibly loud.

Room was quiet (in the beginning) and bed was great! Sheets, Blanket and Pillows very comfortable. Had a pleasant bath which was excellent. Then as we settled in to sleep, doors started slamming and kids were screeching and running wild! It went on for quite a while...it eventually stopped. We enjoyed the stay.

It was much nicer than expected. Super clean and everything in good working condition. I was skeptical after reading reviews, but it was nice.

There was some trash in the parking lot. The staff were cleaning it up before I left.

We really enjoyed our 2 days here. The owner was exceptionally nice and put a new New refridge in our rm. Breakfast was very good. Sitting by pool was so nice and very clean! We will stay here again.

Breakfast items and coffee were empty by 8am. Gas station right beside hotel, so we were able to get some coffee and goodies there.

the tv was mounted like all the way across the other side of the room and the bed was centered in front of the kitchen sink . so it made watching tv difficult

The room I was in was by the door that everyone entered and later. So I got no sleep doing the night.
