Super 8 by Wyndham Hernando

The location is great. The price was right. The facilities were adequate. It appeared to be run efficiently. I liked the bed, the size of the refrigerator and the size of the room. It was clean, although there was a slight smell of smoke in the hallway.

The breakfast was only minimal. I went to McDonald’s to bring breakfast back, because outside of waffles there was not a whole lot to it. Only powdered creamer. Apples and bananas. The staff at the desk was not very friendly, but the girls who cleaned the rooms were friendly (although they started very early!). There is not much to the lobby or eating area.

The room was comfortable with plenty of desk and table space. The beds were perfectly pleasant. Staff was helpful and friendly. Plenty of privacy and the location makes it easy to walk over to the grocery store or to a restaurant without too much trouble.

The bathroom ceiling had some mold discoloration which was unpleasant to see, though the humidity of Mississippi makes it hard to fight. The in room coffee pot was disappointing, I think a hot water kettle would be preferable. The snack vending machine on the first floor refused to take any money.

The room was spacious enough, and the beds were comfortable. It is pet friendly.

You could hear guests talking and TVs in the neighboring rooms and hear everything going on in the hallway. The breakfast was disappointing. One wafflemaker, frosted flakes or raisin bran, orange or apple juice, coffee, a few yogurts, a few pieces of toast or mini muffins, a few packets of oatmeal, and a few pieces of fruit. That was your options.

i liked the price. i like hernando we use to stay in southhaven but its got too busy . my daughter lives in hernando. it was located to alot also. we had a little problem at 1 30 AM with the toilet and they came right away and b fixed it and cleaned it up no problem. love the staff.

didnt like pulling out into the traffic but finally figured out another way to get out and a light. also we dont smoke but had a smoking room...ugh the smell but we got a deoderizer.

Excellent hotel right off of the Interstate. Convenient to downtown with a few restaurants within walking distance. Staff accommodated the special request I made at reservation time. Room fridge had a freezer section.

The coffee served with the continental breakfast was pretty bad - much worse than the coffee I brewed with the in-room pot.

The breakfast ok. I am not a big breakfast person. It was easy to pull into and park.

Nothing could have been better for me. I was very impressed by the condition of the property and could not believe how clean it was. The staff was friendly and professional.

We did not eat breakfast. Our stay was filled with family events. The staff was great, very helpful.

The only downside was the bathroom floor needed to be scrubbed. Otherwise, the room and amenities were really good.

Bed was comfortable. Conveniently locatef.

Room needed some TLC. Lighting was poor. Staining on the bedding. House keeping removed all of our towels from our room and did not replenish them. Wife had to go to front desk to get them.

The hotel staff was friendly. The tv channels were great.

The hotel smells like Marijuana when you first walk in the doors..it should be switched to the downstairs rooms as non smoking across the way. As someone with breathing issues this would be a fantastic change. I get people smoke and thsts fine but not when you first walk in

The affordability and location.

Our bathroom could have been a little cleaner. And even tho it was cold outside, it was warm in the room and the air conditioner didn't work very well.
