Quality Inn Southaven - Memphis South

The room was very nice, especially for the price. During my trip I stayed in more expensive rooms that weren't as nice. It had plenty of space, was very clean, and (even though I didn't go down for breakfast) it was the only place on my entire trip that offered breakfast. The color scheme was pleasing and the bed was super comfy.

There was a faint smoke smell even though the rooms are non-smoking. I believe either the previous occupant had smoked outside then come in the room. Since all the room doors open to the outside (unlike a Holiday Inn or Hampton, etc) there isn't much the hotel can do about that. The odor wasn't strong and from me coming in and out with bags, the smell dissipated quickly, but they may want to consider giving each room a quick Febreeze spray down or something to help neutralize those odors.

It was very clean, not even dusty anywhere, which was better than we dared hope from a roadside inn. Microwave and fridge were in working order and the water pressure in the bathroom was adequate. We stayed for just one night, breakfast in the morning was alright. There was some bread, waffles, juice and coffee which was about what we expected. Best of all, the staff were all very friendly and helpful. There was always somebody manning the front desk and they let us stay in the lobby after checkout while we got our things in order.

We would've wished for a little better soundproofing. It had the classic motel layout with doors that go right out on to the parking lot and we could hear every car that came and conversations in normal voice through the door/wall. Lucky for us, it wasn't super busy at night and not at all rowdy.

1. The staff was very accommodating, 2. the room was very clean and the place in general was clean. 3. The room was comfortable with a lot of space and it has all amenities you may need. 4. Location was good for my trip needs. 5. Cleaning service was very, very good. 6. Even though the breakfast was awful, it is due to COVID restrictions, and I appreciated that they still have the COVID procedures in place since I was traveling with my 73 yo mom.

1. It was a non-smoking room but the smoking smell coming through the door (while closed) and the bathroom was overwhelming and it made the stay uncomfortable 2. A bit noisy, there are trucks everywhere.

this quality inn exceeded my expectations! It was clean and very well kept. I’ve stayed at other quality inns and they were subpar. Room was clean, shower was nice and seemed new. Didn’t use the pool but that area also seemed very clean and orderly. Would definitely stay again if I’m in the area. I was very pleasantly surprised.

Nothing. Everything was wonderful.

No real hot breakfast but there was a great selection of other choices including Jimmy Dean sausage biscuits. Plenty of juice choices rounded things out. The clerk who checked us in, Marsha, I believe, was awesome and really cared that we were happy. The hotel was clean inside and out, very well maintained and the morning clerk was super friendly also, in fact, we enjoyed our stay so much, we booked an extra night to treat ourselves.

Needed jelly for the toast and bagels.

Breakfast was about what we expected. The dining area was clean and efficient. I liked the microwavable sausage, egg, and cheese biscuits option.

I would have preferred breakfast to start at 6 rather than 7 AM. That was unexpected. I wish every hotel would turn off the televisions in the dining area, sometimes a quiet breakfast would be nice.

This property was close to the airport since I had an early flight the next morning. It was clean and the staff was super friendly! The morning breakfast was appreciated as well!

there was a very slight cleaning smell in the room, and although the room was very clean it just had a slightly odd smell.

It was somewhere to sleep. We spent very little time here. The room was cool, quiet, and had everything we needed. The staff were all warm and friendly and accommodated us checking in late.

The beds were very firm. I woke up sore on the side I slept on. Otherwise everything was as expected and promised.

The staff was friendly. It was an easy & fast check-in & check out. There were plenty of towels & pillows. HOT SHOWERS. The pool was open & clean! It was only a 10 minute drive from the airport. :)

There was 3 hairs in the bathroom that I had to clean up. Other than that, it was great! I would go back.

Close to the airport. We stayed here the night before our flight back to Germany. Breakfast was not great, but ok. Nice pool. The receptionist gave us an upgrade with a bigger room because of our baggage :D
