La Quinta by Wyndham Memphis Airport Graceland

I like the room I stayed in was real clean and was cleaned on a regular basis. Also the staff was very nice and helpful. They also allowed me to check in early than usual because of my flight.

I didn't like that housekeeping just walked right in your room before cleaning without knocking or giving you time to respond. This happened more than once even after the manager or supervisor was notified.

The location to Graceland and to other tourist attractions was great! Easy access on and off the highway. The hotel was dated but clean, the way I seen it. The bed was super comfortable not too hot or too soft. Located to a good Mexican restaurant which we did eat at. With the restaurant, be sure to look at your receipt bc they include the gratuity in the price. The room has all the basic amenities and a fridge. At first sight of the hotel we were not sure we made the right choice but it’s fine. It’s also has a lit gated parking lot for the guests to use a code. Very close to the airport and they have a shuttle.

On the backside of the parking lot there is a concrete plant that was noisy of it open. Between the airport and concrete plant don’t plan on sleeping in late here. Both get started early around 6am. Still a very convenient hotel. They need to either get a new waffle maker or buy the better butter spray. Everyone was making waffles that got stuck and burnt backing up the breakfast line. The breakfast is on the skimpy. There is a McDonald’s a block down the street to the right. It’s a get and go breakfast at the hotel and it is kept clean and stocked well. Good hotel coffee.

Gwen was lovely on front desk and Dennis the driver was absolutely wonderful very helpful, there was a staff member a driver called Lawrence who was absolutely appalling very rude zero customer service didn't want to pick up passengers absolutely terrible he should not be in the job, after 20 years loyalty to this hotel, this individual has seriously made me think about returning there again, he completely ruined our holiday and almost made us miss our flight home as he didn't want to take us to the airport, he needs to find another job and other customers were saying the same, i really do hope the owner takes notice.

My wife and I stay here anytime we have a flight out the next day due to it's close proximity to the Memphis International Airport. There are many things that we like about this property. Here are a few: 1. The staff is always helpful and attentive to any needs that we have. 2. You get a decent breakfast in the morning to start the day. 3. The room/bedding is always comfortable and facilitates a good restful night. 4. The maids are very thorough and clean well. They are also helpful if you need anything specific. (Extra towels, soap, etc.) 5. For an industrial area, we feel safe at the hotel.

I wish the sausage patties were browned a bit better, but it's not a deal breaker. You have a decent selection with breakfast including biscuits, sausage as mentioned, scrambled eggs, muffins and cereal. You can also cook a fresh waffle. Maybe focus a bit better on freshness of what is offered.

Everything! That's why I've stayed there for last 3 times.

The Shower 🚿 heads are terribly outdated and don't function well. Please upgrade the the shower heads.

I especially liked the cleanliness of the property. The rooms were clean and my husband and I were really surprised that housekeeping had cleaned while we were out, without being requested. None of our personal belongings had been touched or removed. The hotel exceeded our expectations, especially for the price. It was also in a good location it wasn't too far, everything was just a quick drive here and there. Great stay!

The toilet in our room was extremely low. We had never seen one so low. As I had a hip replaced it was difficult getting up. Our first night, the smell of ‘pot’ on our floor was terrible. Thank goodness we couldn’t smell it in our room. The second night there was no smell.

Very nice room. Excellent location for my visit to Graceland. Bed was very comfortable and breakfast was a mix of hot and cold items. There is a nice, fenced/gated area to park your car.

I kept hearing very loud trucks going by on I THOUGHT the street in front of the hotel. The morning I was leaving, I was outside putting stuff into my car in the side parking area and a cement truck came roaring by on the side street/gravel road next to the hotel. I realized the truck was coming from some kind of rock quarry or concrete company located directly behind the hotel. There are some large pieces of rock crushing or cement mixing equipment back that that are probably a source for some of the noise plus all the trucks going in and out. There wasn't a anti-slip mat for the shower and when I stepped in, I just about went down because apparently there was soap on the bottom of the tub already.
