Courtyard by Marriott Columbia

Beautiful facility, greater right away, very thoughtful staff, lobby smelled wonderful, very clean, bed was comfortable, our room opened to the courtyard. Pool was closed and looked a bit rough and it was indoors but I’m sure they had their reasons plus we didn’t choose it for the pool. Great water pressure in the shower, liked that they had shampoo, conditioner, body wash full size bottles in the shower. They offered breakfast and have a bar that opens in evening but we did not partake in those. They have an market available with the necessities and snacks which is really nice.

There was not a thing I didn’t like, however we only where there from Saturday to Sunday.

Courtyard by Marriott is my favorite hotel. It never disappoints. Friendly staff. I love the cleanliness, the options for food and drinks and other necessities when needed. I love the modern and upkept spaces, as well as the amenities offered. Those are important when traveling.

Everyone has a little different need for mattress comfort. I thought the bed was not as comfortable as I prefer, but overall it is great. Maybe add some more pillows.

The room was clean, comfortable and the hotel was conveniently located for my travel. The staff was polite and very helpful! My cafe mocha and breakfast sandwich from the bistro was a nice touch to a wonderful stay.

The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. The location was perfect for my plans. I like the room setup. The facilities were quiet so it was easy to rest.

This is actually understandable given that we are still dealing with COVID but the breakfast options are limited to Starbucks, which is fine but not included in the price. The website says breakfast can be included, but at this time it cannot be.

Was on the 1st floor by back door, so when I went out to smoke there wasn't any seats, there was a ashtray but nowhere to set, would have been nice to have my coffee and sit down with a coffee and cigarette 😀

I appreciated to lounge where food could be purchased

It would have been much more convenient if there would have been a complementary breakfast offered.

The staff was wonderful! we left an Apple Watch in our room. We called as soon as we realized it and they were more than happy to mail it to us. It arrived safe and sound and we are very grateful.

The hotel was the usual great standard I expect from Marriott but it was the staff, particularly the receptionist that made it extra special. She was so accommodating. It’s the little things that make trips memorable. She was wonderful! Highly recommend this hotel.

A Clean Well Lighted Place. What more can a person want “With all those who need a light for the night.” Friendly staff with beautiful smiles and very polite. Safe and quiet. Hot and plentiful shower. Clean bathroom.
