Staybridge Suites Columbia-Highway 63 & I-70, an IHG Hotel

Absolutely perfect! Best hotel we have ever stayed in. We stayed for a month and we’re sad to leave. Love this place and the people who work here! I have 3 autistic/adhd children so we worry about anytime we stay at a hotel. My other 2 kiddos have ADHD. Mostly because, well, they are just a lot. We were moving so we had our dogs with us too. So thankful they could be with us! We didn’t want to be away from them for a whole month. The meals were amazing! We have stayed at other places and their breakfast was ok… but here the breakfast is amazing! Yes, there were off days but overall it was incredible! We all loved the social dinners!! My kids looked on the whiteboard every week to see what the food was going to be (Monday, Tuesday, and We Wednesday were dinner days). This helped me so so much because planning food on top of everything else was really stressful. Knowing they had a beautiful dinner ready was such a relief! We were able to have more family time this way! The pool was the perfect temperature. Loved the fireplace with the fire in the lobby. Loved the Halloween and Christmas decorations! They had a pumpkin decoration contest and the kids loved picking their favorite and waiting to see who won. The week of thanksgiving, their general manager, Lisa, went all out and made the best thanksgiving meal ever (sorry mom!) It was so perfect because in the midst of all the chaos of our lives, Lisa made our holiday feel like a holiday. It really was so special and so appreciated! The laundry machines washed my clothes better than the washer I had in the house we sold! I was floored! With autistic kids, they have bowel and bladder issues. So, getting things actually clean is very difficult (and embarrassing). These washers did the trick! So impressed! The few times I allowed the housekeepers to help me (remember - embarrassed) the room was beautiful. They even did the dishes! Which I loved! (And also felt guilty about.. but very thankful!)

The keycard couldn’t be placed around your cell phone or credit cards otherwise it would deactivate. Wish I would have known that at check in. Hot tub was closed. One dryer was out of order. One washer wobbled so much I thought it was going to run away.. or damage the wall. When I was walking in the hall, I overheard one housekeeper talking about how she wasn’t looking forward to cleaning my room because we had been there for so long. One housekeeper had a serious chip on her shoulder but I didn’t encounter her until the day we checked out. I wish they would offer clean bed linens more frequently- I didn’t ask because I was embarrassed but it would have been really nice.

The staff were all pleasant and helpful. Their breakfast buffet was amazing. Every room we stayed in was immaculate, and they were able to accommodate an "early check in" as we were staying night by night during our fathers hospital stay. So, they got a clean room for us to move to at check out time and quickly got our second room ready. The location is very convenient. Close to the highways, walmart, and places to eat. Our dog was welcomed with lots of lovins. We will definitely come again.

The elevators were a little dirty, buy they were high traffic places.

The room was nice and breakfast.

My towel had dried blood on it. I called the front desk and they said they apologize and to put the towel out fir house keeping to get it. I had to call customer service to have the situation handled properly. The front desk receptionist, O'Shea, is too friendly with teenagers. He didn't know I was behind my teenager while he was asking him where he's going and about to do. Then the teenagers went to the desk for an extra blanket. He gave them items for free while having too friendly conversation with them.

The staff was excellent, everyone was exceptionally nice and friendly. The entire hotel from top to bottom was spotless. We stayed in a suite and loved it. Everytime we come to visit our grandkids we will be staying there. we are very happy with our choice to stay there.

The only issue we had was during breakfast. The first morning we had breakfast they were out of coffee and all juice, were even out of some food. The girl who was working the breakfast station was very nice and did a great job, she explained that some shipments of supplies hadn’t come in yet and were due in that day. Next day we did have coffee and juice but some other things still hadn’t come in yet. I do understand from my own job that supplies are hard to get timely these days. As I said before she did a great job and there is really nothing that we didn’t like about our stay.

Liked the amount of space, the desk for office work, the comfort of the bed, the kitchen refrigerator, the shower and the friendliness of the staff. Shower had safety grab bar and shower floor was textured and felt safe that I would not slip or fall. Breakfast cook went out of her way to make me oatmeal when I requested it, front desk staff equally amicable and helpful when I checked in. Full length mirror in the bedroom was helpful. Workout room was well-equipped with diverse pieces of equipment.

There could have been bowls and silverware and glasses or cups in the kitchen. I had brought food with me on the trip, and there were no utensils/dishware in the ktichen. Hotel was tucked into a complex of other hotels, and the signage was not clear of how to get to the hotel (Columbia location). Also, breakfast needs to have healthy vegan options--some vegans don't eat milk, cheese. Plant-based milk or yogurt option would be good, as well as whole, fresh fruit and possibly whole wheat pancakes/bread.

Staff was extremely friendly! Gentleman at the front desk was engaging, even with my two sons. Breakfast was great. Pool water was warm. You can tell it was a dated hotel that has been remodeled. Would stay there again.

Our door would not shut on its own, we had to push or pull the door closed to latch it. The toilet handle was broken, they offered to send maintenance but it was late and our boys were going to bed. I just took the top off the back and pulled the chain to flush.

It was not well maintained outside in the back grill area and the back door security didn’t work. Bbq grill area looked bad . Buffet was pretty good. I would suggest offering natural yoghurt not sweetened with local raw honey to support the community and healthier breakfast also some sort of real cheese not processed for the eggs would be nice

Everything. Absolutely loved that the living room had a pull out couch and was separated from the bedroom by a door. We were able to have the kids on the living area and us in the beds in the bedroom. And the shower, let me tell you that I fell in love with the shower head. I even asked the young man at the front desk where I could buy one.

There's nothing to complain about. Everything was great and the staff were so sweet.

For the price, it couldn’t be beat. The fact that there was a stove, fridge and microwave available made the stay that much better. It was also a short drive from my school which was the reason of my visit.

Our last two nights, there were children above us who wouldn’t stop running around. It was all you could hear all day long and it was extremely disruptive. We called the front desk who said they would call the room but the noise didn’t stop.

Great hotel with wonderful staff. I took my dog with me and they were so welcoming and clean. The breakfast was hotel and served with glass plates (upscale)! The only thing is the pool water looked scary like a bunch of stuff bubbles all over the water. I loved the hotel thought VERY CLEAN AND I MEAN CLEAN AND COMFORTABLE
