Camden on the Lake Resort

The property is immaculate; our room appeared to be almost brand-spanking new, and that’s coming from a fairly particular [read: picky!] person. The design firm that created the rooms’ decor did a top-notch job (except for the hallway sconces, which appear to belong in a Cinnabon store!) When we entered our room, we literally both exclaimed over how lovely it was! Oh, and the room included a small kitchen that I’d not expected, which was also beautifully appointed! The staff was absolutely FABULOUS! We thoroughly enjoyed everyone with whom we spoke. Check-in and check-out were also a breeze. We’re returning to the Lake next month and there is no question that we’ll stay at Camden on the Lake again! It absolutely beats the pants off The Four Seasons!

The doors to the rooms and some of the furniture had deep scratches that could be easily repaired with a stain marker in about five minutes. I was displeased that the closet did not accommodate my long dresses, just pants and tops.

Loved the room it was so nice. The shower and bathroom were beautiful. I loved the fact that we had our own balcony. The fact we had a whole kitchen was amazing as well.

The staff were super snobby and very unfriendly. The lady at the front desk rolled her eyes at us and our apparel (we were there for a cannabis event). The man who checked us in was SUPER snobby like they both snubbed their noses at my girlfriend and I. The man who checked us in seemed very rushed to get us out of the way, but he didn't smile not once. If you're going to work in hospitality, then maybe you should not be such a snob or be a sour puss.

Very nice and well maintained. Beautiful bathroom and shower. The beds were awesome. We really enjoyed the balcony since the weather was unseasonably warm.

The toilet paper was 2 ply and rather rough. The coffee supplied for the room was more like tea and only one bag provided. The Front desk seemed to be battling with the Boutique employee. Boutique clerk was snoozing in the clothes rack so I had to call out loudly to get her attention. I also wondered if the Ph was off in the hot tub. It irritated my legs, opposite of chlorine.

My husband and I have stayed at Camden on the Lake twice now and loved our stay both times. Both visits we stayed in one of the spa suites. The rooms are spacious, clean, and cozy. The staff was very friendly as well as accommodating. We could not get our fireplaces lit, but maintenance came up right away and got it started for us. We have stayed at several resorts at the lake and Camden on the Lake is by far the best one. We can't wait to book our next visit.

Access to food/drinks, staff were very kind, pool area was nice, great views of the lake.

We reserved a lake view room and were given a room looking at the side of the bar and grill. I could see the lake from there if I stood in a corner of the balcony and leaned over… we switched rooms to have a quieter stay and they wouldn’t refund the extra money. Music at the bar plays until 1AM.

The room was amazing! We loved it! we had the King Suite with lake view.

Having a balcony with a lake view was everything. Room service and all staff were incredibly amazing and friendly. The food was delicious, drinks were fun, and the location was just spectacular. Was also pleasantly surprised by the fact that the little kitchenette in the suite was much better stocked with amenities than listed in the room description for the suite: extra large mini fridge, sink, dishwasher, stove top, pots+pans+plates+glasses+wine glasses etc., built in microwave, simple coffee machine (old and cheap coffee pot,, but didn't care or even use it with there being a coffee bar downstairs). There was even a washing machine tucked away with the room safe and extra pillows and blankets inside of one of the three individual closets between the bedroom and livingroom area. Oh! And the bed was amazingly comfortable. We slept in, took naps, ate too much, shopped, and just had a wonderful time during our stay. Highly recommend- and we were only there during the "off" season. I can only imagine all the more fun to be had when it's actually warm.

Old girl is getting close to needing some small updates and repairs such as hard water build up on the shower heads, and replacing the sofa that seemed to have hosted a No More Monkeys Jumping On it competition - at least in the suite in which we were staying.

The room was huge and the view was outstanding. The hotel is beautiful. No issues with staff. Overall, the stay was great and you get great value for the price.

Despite what I will list, I really enjoyed the stay. I am only including this information for future guests. The restaurant was a bit of a disappointment. The napkins smelled of grease and the soda was watered down. The food was just so-so. There was a dirty towel in our room and the tv kept going in and out -- was told it was due to the wind. The jetted tub was quite small.

I didn’t get to experience much. Just stopped for an overnight on a road trip and it was cold and raining lol. but the place was empty but the staff was great, room service was great, suite was perfect. I slept like the dead and woke up to a gorgeous lake view. Had a magnificent coffee with Bailey’s from the friendly barista in the lobby, took a couple hours to get ready and hit the road. already planning a girls trip for next season. awesome place.

The spa was amazing and the staff at the front desk was amazing and so friendly! We can't wait to come back?

The only think I can even think of that wasn't even a problem was the toilet would run every once in a while in our room and to turn the shower on you need to pull both handles out in order to turn the water on ( we had to call the front desk ) 🤣
