WorldMark Lake of the Ozarks

Love the atmosphere. It was just what my family needed. The local restaurants were great especially JB Hooks. The view of the lake from the room balcony is beautiful. The hot tub is the perfect end or beginning to the day.

The only thing that could make the room better is a more modern feel. The furniture is becoming dated along with the fixtures. The shuffle board in the community room could use some love. There is not enough sand to play properly. The hot tube Jets do not work. This could be because it was still considered off season but nothing is posted to indicate this.

Unfortunately, when I checked in, I was informed that the charges were slightly higher than what I paid to booking.com. They apparently missed some taxes ($23 over 2 nights). I didn't think this should be my responsibility, and should be worked out between Worldmark and Booking.com, but I didn't want to bother with it over $23. The property was nice, and I'd still recommend it

Check with Worldmark to make sure the charges are as advertised on Booking.com. I was impressed that there were no cleaning charges on this rental condo, but was not happy when I was told that my payment to Booking.com didn't cover everything. My son is on a tighter budget. He got a room, and the extra charges didn't suit him well either

We've stayed there over 100 times , used to be owners until everyone and their dog could get a room so we sold out.

The place was flooded with over 2 dozen cats, was loading up to leave came back with a load and I had three fu...... cats in my car!!! Was not happy! I'm allergic to cats! They walking I walls , jn pool area, on cars, under cars etc. I've seen one or 2 before but nothing like this!

Our room was very clean and we were able to sit on the lanai and enjoy the lake. It was close to several golf courses which was the point of our getaway.

The second bedroom was twin beds which would be great for children. However, the next time I book for 4 adults, I will be more conscious to reserve a room with 2 kings or a king and queen sized beds!

Great views! We stay here because it's a homey setting vs a hotel. Found out this time that they also have puzzles and games you can check out from the front office which was nice. The dock area has a couple of tables (and fans if needed), you can fish (cleaning station right there) and there is a swim ladder as well. In other areas of the complex they also have multiple tables and grills available for use. All these areas were nice and clean.

We booked a unit with a king bed in the master bedroom and requested to be near the elevator because we were traveling with my elderly mother. When I called to ask about this request, the manager was very accommodating and put us in a unit on the parking level so we didn't have to worry about using the elevator or stairs. Upon arrival we determined that this unit had a queen bed which wasn't mentioned earlier. When I called and spoke with the manager, he was very apologetic and said that when he was trying to help us with the room location he didn't think about the unit having a Qn vs a King bed. They were fully booked so there wasn't another unit option for us. We understood the situation but didn't sleep that well during our 8 day stay due to the smaller bed size.

The resort is very nice. Our one bedroom apartment was very spacious, with nicely decorated living room, comfortable couch. It had a fairly big balcony with 2 clean chairs and a glass table so you could have a meal out there or just relax. You could also enjoy a lovely view of the lake and beautiful sunrises and sunsets. The kitchenette was well equipped with quality pots, nice dishes and glasses. All the utensils in various drawers and silverware were impeccably organized. There was a coffee maker and some coffee and tea packs were provided as well as some packets with various seasonings, which was a nice touch and useful in case you wanted to cook. The refrigerator was also very clean. There were plenty of pillows, nice white bedding and pretty comfortable bed. I also liked a big mirror in the bedroom, luggage rack and another TV set. The alarm clock on the nightstand had additional sockets/power outlets to be able to charge your electronics. Usually it’s hard to find the plug close enough to charge a phone or iPad. The bathroom was also spacious with better lighting than in the most hotels with plenty of towels and washcloths. Also pool towels were provided. Though the pool was heated we didn’t take advantage of if since it was still too cold outside for us during the time we stayed there. Also we were ecstatic that there was no mask mandate and we could make our own decision regarding it. I commend the management for being open minded, sensible and for respecting our rights to chose and make our own decisions regarding our health. The staff was very courteous, friendly and helpful. No free WiFi, which is hard to understand why the resort cannot provide free WiFi. There were some quests staying above us and it was a bit annoying to hear them constantly opening and closing sliding balcony door and also heavy walking.

The location is wonderful and the unit incredibly spacious and comfortable. Great access for dock fishing or a boat pick up. The view is spectacular.

The exterior of the unit, specifically the stairs, were in need of repair. The staff could have been more friendly, checking felt like we were inconveniencing the woman.

The view over the lake. Private balcony to relax on. Easy access to get to other places. Staff were very helpful and accommodating to our needs. Generally it was quiet, considering it was Memorial day weekend. We enjoyed our stay and planning another getaway.

The bed we had was a little too soft for us. Woke up achy in the morning, but fine after a shower.

Great, Central, location, accommodations, always comfortable. The pool is warm and it was a great week.

The kiddie pool was full of adults and they were drinking and using profanity...the hot tub wasnt working then when It was fix it was very dirty..stains in carpet very unfavorable looking like it wasn't clean
