Sunset Beach Resort

Clean rooms, close to town, nice pool, very nice staff. There were grills to use, though a little worn down.

I didn't realize it was directly across from Backwater Jack's, a huge lake bar/entertainment facility. The picture I attached is the view from the deck right outside our room. We looked directly across to it. Not all rooms at the resort do, but our building did. It makes for good people watching, but there was live music every night, so it did make for a lot of sound until 10-11pm. We have little kids, and the rooms were well enough insulated to not keep them awake, so I'm thankful for that. It's the Ozarks, not the middle of nowhere, so I fully understand the context, I would just do a better job of letting guests know that in advance, so it's not a total surprise.

The location was perfect and the staff extremely accommodating. We felt welcome and the rooms were perfect for what we were locking for.

The proximity to the popular bar/restaurant meant there was alot of traffic on the water. However, we got free live music out of it so its a fair trade :)

Sunset Beach Resort is a great little place to stay. I am on my 4th stay with them as I travel for work. The room/studio is always spotless and smells great! A nice quiet place to stay. I love that I don’t have to worry about walking down hallways to get into and out of my room. As long as I am working and staying in the Osage Beach area for work this is where I will stay. Kathleen the manager is always so kind willing to work with my crazy check-in and check-out times! A great place that I can’t recommend enough!

Quiet, clean, and good central location. Being right on the water was nice, too.

We were at the lake for Bikefest. The Hotel was great, but the gravel parking lot was difficult for motorcycles. Hills and gravel are a bad combo for bikes.

The view of the lake was awesome. We had a king size bed that was very comfortable. Located near everything we needed.

The weather was hot and humid. Mid July is hot. But it was 102-105. We are a retired couple,, it is a very rough to get around resort. Lots of stairs that we were not aware of.

Location, location, location! We were minutes from the interstate to check out different areas around the lake and we were in a cove directly across from Backwater Jack’s. Easy access to boats and wave runners and we loved being on the 3rd story balcony overlooking the cove.

The beach area was a bit of a disappointment. We ended up spending no time there and that was part of the main reason we took the trip was to spend some time on a nice beach

They do not provide meals, but there are some great restaurants close to the resort and Backwater Jack's is right across the cove. We had the pool to ourselves pretty much all week.

The only problem we had was the horse flies that occasionally pestered us by the pool. Everything else was great! We definitely will be staying again, possible as an annual family trip.

Nice sized place. Clean with ample things to cook with.

The stairs to the poll needs to have a railing to insure the safety of everyone. My wife fell as she was going down them. Fortunately, she fell backward and not forward.

My family and I had so much fun! We loved everything from the poolside rooms, renting a pontoon, and the nightlife was amazing. Thank you for an unforgettable and amazing place.

Location right on the lake. Near backwater jacks. Close to boat rentals. Close to OS business section

Pillows and bed were hard. Room could use a dehumidifier. Backwater hacks gets very loud at night. Some dip wads with loud boats were looking for attention every 10 minutes or so starting and racing his engine. Site is very hilly.
