Lodge of Four Seasons Golf Resort, Marina & Spa

I loved the overall ambiance and numerous amenities at “The Lodge”. The pool options were great and the rooftop was fun! Breezes restaurant was spot on for breakfast or lunch and Fire and Ice poolside bar had yummy cocktails and spicy street tacos. Our room was clean and cozy with a peaceful view of the lake and very private patio. Finally, the lodge is in a great location, easy to access from highway 54 and just a short drive to Bagnell Damn for some solid shopping, boat/kayak/wave runner rental and plenty of night life!

I absolutely hated the constant, loud and annoying 70’s rock that they played in the lobby all restaurants, even HKs and all the pools. HKs which was highly recommended was a huge disappointment. A lot of my disappointment was related to very poor service and the raunchy 70’s music. In all fairness the scallops we had were fabulous and the wine selection solid.

The location was excellent for getting around to restaurants and activities. Everything was nicely spaced and not too crowded. The Japanese gardens were a delightful surprise. The pools were just the right size. It was nice having pools that were for adults. The big pool with the bar was unmanageable because of kids and all. HK restaurant was delicious. Also Breezes! The bar off the lobby was not so great. Didn’t know how to make an Old Fashioned! Not a great beginning when we had just arrived. Where we stayed did not have a refrigerator or microwave. That would have been nice to have.

We were told fireworks would be at 8:30. Was at 8:15 and missed most of it. 10 minutes and done. Across the lake was longer.

The staff are friendly, interested, informative, and understanding. The amenities are beautifully one of a kind. The view and location are truly exceptional. When considering the quality, activity access, and on the lake location, the pricing surprised us.

A water and ice machine on the bottom floor next to a vending machine had a huge puddle of water underneath it. I couldn't seem to locate a self-serve free breakfast bar (most hotels that charge less include a complimentary breakfast). There weren't water bottles in the rooms so we had to get dressed and go out into the hall for a drink.

the only 2 things I didn’t like were the door key are from the 1920’s and would get de-magnetized. it was a battle every time we tried to open our door. The last thing were the shower heads also from 1920’s when the average height of man was 4’4. As 6’1 I couldn’t even bend over to get hair wet, I literally had to crouch which makes for a horrible shower.

It was off-season and during the week, so the price was excellent. Our room was upgraded to a large room with a balcony. The staff was extremely friendly and courteous. We enjoyed the wood fire in the large central fireplace. The indoor pool and whirlpool were terrific. The grounds were very attractive considering that it's barely spring and most things are not blooming yet. I'm sure it's beautiful in late spring and summer. The place was not at all busy, but most amenities were still open and available, at least to some extent. Oh, yes, and the bed was very comfortable.

Internet was slow.

The spa experience was great.

The resort is noisey. Kept us up until 1-2 am. Due to a wedding. Its okay for a younger crowd.

Wish there was a refrigerator included in the room ,not sure if that’s due to people taking them but it would have been nice for our beverages and left over food, We did in fact end up getting one for a additional 20$ . Also the price of the buffet per person was a little high at 17$ per person .

Pool & spa were very nice. Pool towels readily available. Convenient & comfortable lounge chairs in pool area. Staff members were very helpful. Breakfast was awesome - really, really good. Loved the wood fire in the lobby.

Took a long time for the water in the shower to get warm. I think, probably because there weren't a lot of guests in the lodge on the day we were there.

It was our first time here and we will definitely be back. We enjoyed ourselves very much. The staff is amazing and the atmosphere is top notch.

I was with my granddaughter and although we enjoyed our stay there were a few things that needed attention. The play area wasn't open and the clover pool was dirty and the bottom was rough and hurt your feet. We stayed a week and I would have liked to have had housekeeping at least once during our stay as trash adds up fast. The carpets were a little dirty and were the waterfall is the carpet was wet and coming up. I'm sure that most of the issues are due to the pandemic and being understaffed.

The view is beautiful, the zone is amazing, all the staff is really good, the breakfast is really good too. Everyone is so gentle with us and my child. All the pools open. All the options open too.

Maybe the need update the carpets but no a big deal for us.
