Best Western Rocky Mountain Lodge

When we arrived, the front desk person gave us a bag of treats for our dog and gave us some tips for dog-friendly restaurants, so I knew this was a dog-friendly hotel. There was also a nice grass area at the back to throw the ball for our dog. We loved the location because it wasn't far from downtown and some nice river parks. The room was clean, newly updated and quiet. The pool was a little chilly but the jacuzzi was just perfect and massive. We loved the freshly baked cookies and popcorn, and the breakfast buffet had some good hot choices. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone.

Pool could have been heated to a warmer temperature.

Very clean hotel with nice spacious room and a large bathroom. It was way better than some of the more pricy hotels we have stayed at recently. The morning breakfast was good, a nice spread clean dining room. The staff was very helpful, from the check in to the housekeeping staff and the folks manning the kitchen. Kitchenette, mini fridge, microwave in the room was a bonus. A 24 hour supermarket across the street and the incredible downtown for Whitefish 1.5 miles away was great.

The kitchenette drain was a slow drain. Nothing else was out of place. Some road noise because of the proximity of the hotel to the main road.

The continental breakfast was great! It had a good variety and staff were very attentive to replacing food items and keeping the area clean. It was nice that the hotel had a shuttle to take us back to the train station in the morning when we departed. The rooms were clean and the beds were super comfy! The snacks, which included popcorn and cookies, were an extra nice treat. All in all, I would highly recommend staying here.

Staff friendly and helpful, use of hot tub after skiing helped those acey mussels. Plus free hot chocolate also added to a good day.Free shuttle bus to ski resort saved having parking headaches

On edge of town about 20 minutes walk to Downtown and there for quite in evening.I emailed the address shown on your website but no response from hotel ,staff stated more than one BW so please update your site.

Very convenient and clean .. could easily walk to downtown Whitefish to restaurants and shops .. and good breakfast !

Hotel puts out popcorn and cookies in afternoon but was very evident employee on front desk took all of them as soon as they were put out .. must have needed them a lot more than us 🥹 Disappointing behavior

Outdoor water hose available for car washing, EV charging, bubble tub in king suite, large room with 2 air conditioners, electric fire place, close to McDonald, friendly staff, pool

Noise isolation in the king suite wasn't nice. Can hear neighbour's dogs barking; can hear neighbour's TV and talking at night.

We ended up in a King Suite, and it was very spacious and comfortable for our family. The continental breakfast was way more than I expected. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I was very impressed, and will definitely stay again.

I’m sure like most places, they are short staffed, so the front desk fulfilled most requests. It seems that housekeeping only comes in every few days, which wasn’t a problem, but that left the staff to have to run around bringing up new towels, blankets, etc.

There was a great breakfast with lots of options. The location was very close to downtown, clean, nice view, pool, and a clean and grassy pet area.

In the early mornings you could hear other guests letting their doors slam and walk down the halls, which was annoying if you didn’t have to be up early. Sometimes the hot water in the shower was warm at best in the mornings.

Convenient location, great amenities and comfortable beds

The lady in the breakfast room was not friendly either day we were there. She did not make us feel welcome but rather that we were in the way. Rather than assisting us with the waffle maker, she made us feel like we were dumb not knowing how to work the machine.

Excellent staff who were so helpful. Got a shuttle ride to airport last minute no problem and they extended our checkout so we could get organized. Montana the desk clerk was so friendly and the early morning staffer/driver very kind as well. The room was very comfortable and breakfast delicious. We will come back for another visit to Montana and stay again; it’s a home away from home. Loved the free fresh baked cookies too!
