Chalet Inn

The lady at the front desk was very nice. The room was clean. The TV had no volume but by the time I arrived, I wasn't awake for very long. The walls and ceiling are fairly thin but noise was minimal. A lovely little place and decently priced for the area.

Honestly, the biggest complaint was the television and even that's not a big deal. It had CC going. I originally felt as though the room was hard to find and identify then the locking mechanism was not user friendly - however, I realized the information was in the text provided by the motel and the rest was just mental fog brought on by being in the air or airports for over 14 hours.

Diego is the best! I felt that he gave us his personal attention to make our stay great. I had mentioned on the phone it was my birthday. Upon arrival I was very surprised to find that he had decorated the table with balloons and candy. So sweet. The room was squeaky clean and the beds were comfortable. Eva, the owner is fantastic also. I loved the special touches like the swing chair outside the rooms and the nice homey decor of the room. It felt like a home, not a sterile hotel room. The continental breakfast even had homemade baked goods.

Chalet Inn was a bonus find in an expensive city for lodging. The price was reasonable and only about a mile (10 min drive) to downtown. It is newly remodeled (perhaps some rooms are still being remodeled?). The beds were comfortable, the room quiet and the staff friendly and helpful. The rooms are cleverly decorated with items that make the place feel more like a B&B than a roadside motel. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend.

Very nice and spacious room. The floor was very clean, there was a lot of lighting in the room, the facilities were great, the AC was powerful. The wifi was very fast. The color of the walls was bright and colorful. The overall environment was very nice

It's a little too expensive, and one of the beds was creaking just a little bit. One thing that bothered me was the fact that the coffee machine and the sink were right next to each other.

It was a nice place to spend a couple nights. Rooms were clean and big enough for the 3 of us. Didn't hear anyone beside us except when they closed the front door.I would stay again if in the area.

Owners had too much clutter outside of the place around the building.

Chalet is in the perfect location, incredibly quaint, clean and reasonably priced. I love the family-owned charm of the place - Eva was so friendly and accommodating. She also had great recommendations for the area. I loved my stay so much I extended my trip to the Flathead Valley and came back to the Chalet a week later!

The people above my room stomped across the floor/my ceiling for hours until 2am one night, and then stomped across their floor/my ceiling super early at 4:30 when they departed a day later. ( Some folks really are clueless ) I should have requested a 2nd floor room.

We loved our stay at the Chalet Inn! Staff were all so friendly and helpful with tips on getting around Glacier NP. The breakfast is a great little continental style setup that provides all you really need to get your day going. Downtown Whitefish is a quick 5 minute drive and entrance to Glacier is only about 25 minutes or so. Our room was extremely cozy, they did a great job with personal touches that really make this place feel like mountain escape we were looking for. We also had a beautiful view of the mountains outside our room window. Would recommend and would stay here again in a heartbeat!!

I did not have the breakfast. Location was great- close enough to downtown Whitefish that the restaurants, bars, and shops were super easy to access (~5 minute drive), and a quick, 30 minute drive to the entrance of Glacier NP. The Chalet was in a quiet location that let you get away from the hustle and bustle and enjoy some quiet and privacy.

There was not anything I didn't like! I felt the Chalet was in a great location, comfortable, and had everything I needed to enjoy my trip in Whitefish. Not luxurious by any means but you do not need that when you are in Whitefish!

Unfortunately we planned to do our laundry from the first week of our vacation , and washer was broken. Also, our king size bed mattress was comfortable, but the frame was bent and did not provide enough support for the mattress.
