Maverick Hotel and Casino by Red Lion Hotels

Just so everyone knows, the hotel can’t take cash at night so make sure you have credit or debit card option for the room which is obvious, I just happen to have cash with me on this trip mostly. The front desk lady or manager Jessica, she was amazing. She saw what predicament I was in and we tried to fix it whichever way we could and she was able to make it work out. She was very kind and understanding and so sweet. That really made my trip extra nice and special knowing I was surrounded by nice humans. The hotel and casino itself I’m not much of a gambler so it was just the hotel I stayed in, very clean rooms and the bed was extremely comfortable. It was quiet, temperature was perfect everything was great I give this place 100% And would absolutely stay there again when I visit Elko.

Nothing!! Well, except they can’t take cash at night and they don’t have a Swiper for their credit card or debit machine so you should have the card number available. But it all worked out because of Jessica. She’s the best.

It was a perfect location. We enjoyed a fun evening in the casino, though small it didn't feel crowded at all. It was enjoyable. The pool was clean and fun for the kids. Having a late checkout was really nice. It allowed us to use the pool since it didn't open until 10 am.

I can tell it is about time for renovation. Some if the furniture was damages, dirty light switches, beds were comfortable; though we could tell enough single people have slept in it. We both rolled to the middle throughout the night. The noise outside was so obnoxious. The walls are thinner than I thought. Someone fell above us and the nieghbors were quite loud. I swear the man was out there all night-so loud. He never went in. Not my best nights sleep. Husband said he didn't hear a thing.

My family always travels and our stop is always Elko. We used to stay at another hotel but it has run down now so we decided to try Mavrick. Cant say enough about this hotel. Very large rooms. I love how it provides the vanity and a bathroom. Beds were so comfortable my family didnt want to get up in the morning. I love how it offers shampoo and body wash despensors in the shower. Overall we will definitely come back

Not many channels on the TV.

Clean and large family suit with 3 queen beds and a separate room inside the room. The beds were very comfortable which I was surprised with. Clean,comfy and safe for a nights stay while on the road. We were very pleasantly surprised with the comfort and price for the big room!

could use more toiletries in the room.

the room is fantastic, love the bathroom and love how much space there is. clean, stocked and was very cozy

the front desk agents attitude was almost as if she didn’t care about her job or seemed as if I annoyed her, she was kind but very robotic and didn’t greet me or smile or make me feel as if I’m welcomed to be at the hotel

buffet, gym and other amenities were closed so I think the price should’ve been lower for the rooms considering most of things offered weren’t available and the rooms were alright. A little dated. Aspen restaurant was incredibly expensive and not worth the quality of the food , very slow staff.

Beyond expectation, the rooms had balcony and were non-smoking. the security roamed the perimeter constantly. I didn’t try any amenities or the restaurants on site. non-slip tub is a huge plus and wall controlled central thermostat instead of the wall unit. convenient parking and access to the room

Check in was easy and fast as well as check out.

I'm done with the Covid mask mandate crap. I was told I needed to wear a mask to play in the casino. But if you sit at the bar you don't. Makes no sense to wear a mask when the dealers are dealing cards, handling money and chips and not wearing gloves. When security told me I had to wear a mask to play I just went back to my room and watched T.V. So you saved me some money.

The staff was great, the room was very clean, the breakfast deal was awesome. Dinner restaurant was a tad expensive so we had to go across the street where the food was very good and priced good too.

The parking lot needs some attention.

They're restrauint had the worst service. Took 25 minutes to get a ceaser salad with grilled shrimp. I had almost finished my sandwich, Waitress didnt come and ask how our meal was. We had to ask her for our check. Never went again.
