Econo Lodge Lakes Region

The room was pretty cozy, the decor was quaint, and the beds were comfortable. The bathroom had free lotion, shampoo, conditioner, and nice towels, and the showerhead had several pressure options.

We came to breakfast as soon as it opened, and there was almost nothing - it was limited, only a few bagels, there was a single packet of butter, there were a few drinks, and there wasn't any juice. The eggs didn't taste too great either.

The location was perfect for us. The room was clean and comfortable. When we went out in the morning and came back the bathroom had been cleaned and the towels replaced.

I'm a coffee drinker. I would have liked more than 2 packs of coffee for the room. Having to split them between 2 people who like coffee in the morning is never ideal. Especially when they're small cups. Then going to the continental breakfast, a cup carrier would be ideal for brining cups of coffee back to the room.

for an Econo Lodge it was excellent. I would like to have better soap, hair products and moisturizer. it’s nice to have to things available. also coffee in the dining area available all day would be nice.

The air conditioning was not working and had trouble with the ice machine in the morning.

The location was perfect for my purposes. Mitch and John were very friendly. It is really helpful to have a microwave and small fridge in the room because it allowed me to make my own meals/snacks or save leftovers from a restaurant since the Covid-19 virus affected some activities/amenities. There is a desk, which was perfect for setting up a laptop. My overall experience was very good!

I didn't know how to get in touch with staff if I had questions or needed anything, as there was no one at the front desk 24/7. The tub filled with water to my ankles when I took a shower, though I didn't think too much about it at the time. I didn't discover until the next morning when I went to take a shower that the water had never drained. Even though there is no smoking, as a non-smoker I could smell cigarette smoke when entering the room after it had been closed for the day; but that likely was embedded in the walls and fixtures from years of smoking being permitted under previous management. The room I was in could use some additional lighting, as the lamps were all on one side of the room.

Spacious breakfast room with mountain view. Convenient location between the lake region and White Mountain. A Gateway to Acadia. Quiet at night.

Breakfast is stale. The waffle tastes bitter.

Room was CLEAN, had a couch, a good choice of restaurants around, receptionist was nice, and it snowed in the morning when I woke up. The restaurants around have really nice staff.

Receptionist said I don't have to wear my mask to talk to him(cause of the plexiglass between us but someone else came in later and the repair guy came in and had his mask on). Wifi didn't let me register until after I called the front desk to report an issue. Breakfast was just a sandwich and self serve drinks.

The breakfast room was exceptionally clean and very well stocked. The fruit was fresh and the food was great quality.

Everything was delightful for what I expected. The staff was peasant and accommodating. I wouldn't change anything for the price.

I like the location and the price

They can improve in changing the window curtains, ours had a lot of holes and couldnt cover the whole window. The carpet was stinky and it can be replaced.

The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The bed was big and very comfortable. Breakfast the next morning was great - eggs, sausage, toast, bagels, fruit and waffles. Really a great selection.
