White Mountain Hotel and Resort

We ordered from the tavern on our first night. We had a few drinks while we waited for our food. The bar service was excellent an four drinks were very good. The food was great! I had a fish sandwich and the piece of fish was huge. The fires were very good and the nachos were very good too. Our room was great! It was very clean and spacious. Nice kitchenette area. Could have used a microwave though.

The first morning we had breakfast the service was very good but the quality of the food was only ok at best. There was no fruit or tomato juice left. My eggs were cold and the sausage was hard and cold. Most everyone else had a good breakfast. the second day the service was horrible but the quality of the food was a bit better.

The loud barking dog that was on our floor. I feel they should hv one area for pets. Also above us on the 3rd floor were children that kept bouncing a ball on the floor and jumping off furniture or beds.Maybe hv a kid area on lower levels The noise we heard below was a lil too much. I am a parent but we went there to get away from our kids and hv peaceful stay.

- Breakfast included on the first day was great, Restaraunt was busy but, our Server Karen was exceptional. - The Staff at the bar were great especially when we popped up to grab drinks to bring back to the pool area. - The check-in staff was friendly and helpful. The maitenance was always popping around and one gentleman inparticular was everywhere and on top of everything. Like adding more logs to fie pit, keeping towels stocked, moving through the building addressing who knows what but, you could tell he was on a mission and getting stuff done! - The little guest areas on each floor with coffee, tea, water, ie etc,. was great and i thought such a novel idea more hotels should do this rather than have the little individual machines in each room.

- Pool could have been vaccuumed or skimmed although there were passing storms and this may have been the cause of the "extra" dirt - The Air conditiong went out in the Lobby Restaraunt area so we had to cancel our Brunch reservations for SUnday morning and although this was a bummer we do not see it as a big deal especially since we received a courtsey call 2 hours prior to our reservation informing us of the issue.

Included Breakfast was great. Possibly a tiny bit short-staffed but everywhere is like that now. The Tavern for dinner was a highlight of our trip. The incredible Location and Views!

Being underneath loud people who got up at 3:45am one morning. Two towels only for the room when we had our young child with us. I got two extras but after the maids cleaned, it was back down to two. A king room should have a default stock of 4 towels. (2 per adult)....this was the case at the other hotels we stayed at on our trip. But that's not a huge deal, great trip!

I cannot say either about the place food great service outstanding. The bartenders outstanding checking in no issues at all. Great view of the mountains and the grounds beautiful. We stayed there before about two months ago and will be going up again. All I can say Thank you, my wife is also very happy staying there.

I loved the view from the jacuzzi, how comfortable the beds were & the s’mores for purchase to roast for fireside.

I didn’t like the fact they didn’t have a microwave in the room or even in the coffee area. Had no way to heat my baby’s bottles. I also thought it was a a little absurd to make reservations for breakfast even though it was free.

The staff was exceptional. Everywhere we went within the resort - mostly Ledges and the tavern - the wait staff was very pleasant and accommodating. The front desk was attentive too. Housekeeping was very kind when passing in the corridor. The food was very good. The amenities were fabulous! Loved the pool, sauna and hot tub. The view! was spectacular.

There was only one thing! We were not supplied more than the one roll of toilet paper; (the dispenser roll)- we should be provided at least one extra so would not have to ask for such a basic necessity! so we snuck into housekeeping supplies because it was very early morning that we needed it. Miner irritation - chalk up to an oversight by the staff.

Absolutely everything, what a beautiful hotel. Staff where fantastic, restaurant amazing, breakfast incredible. Pool was a nice temperature and hot tub was great. Rooms are beautiful, the tea/coffee/water room for guests is a great touch. Views are wonderful and brilliant location. Great cocktails too.

Nothing everything was perfection.

The staff is always friendly and helpful. Our room was cleaned each day and refreshed with needed items. Each floor had a pantry stocked with a Keurig coffee maker and a great selection of pods for making coffee, tea and hot cocoa. The ice maker was also in the pantry and anything you would need to make the perfect hot drink of your choice.

There was so much to like. The check-in was fast and efficient. The room was really clean, large and comfortable with a view of the mountains. They had a room across from us that had many kinds of Keurig coffee and tea, water, ice, glasses and mugs. The complimentary breakfast was one of the best we've had. The bacon was crispy and delicious. Our vacation was 2 weeks and we stayed at 8 locations. This was the best one by far!

There is nothing that we didn't like. They couldn't have been friendlier. The only thing that could have been improved upon is to have our breakfast reservation timed at the same time that we could sit at our table. I think they are like most places that have a hard time finding staff. We had to wait about 15 to 20 minutes to get our table which made us hurry to catch the train up the mountain at 11:30 and check out time the next day.
