La Quinta by Wyndham Mt. Laurel - Philadelphia

I am a weekly solo traveler. Go there for R&R. The staff is professional and friendly Mr Rushi, the manager, always takes care to correct any problems that I have in regard to my stay. Mr Mack, the desk staff's also very professional and friendly. . The hotel is going through major improvements that will make your stay more enjoyable. The location is great right off of the NJTPike. Many great restaurants and stores are in the area. It is a 10 and higher.

As soon as you enter the building it has a beautiful aroma. It's clean and inviting. Behind the check in area there is a snack bar type area that has candies and beverages for sale. There is a lovely lounge area near the breakfast bar upon entering. There are also brochures with coupons for activities in the area in an alcove nearby. They offer fitness facilities as well as a dog park area and conference rooms! The room was immaculate. Absolutely lovely and the wood tile floors were perfect. The bed was amazing withplenty of pillows. Loved that there was a microwave and refrigerator. The blinds were blackout and really amazing which made it really easy to sleep well. The bathroom was beyond clean and I love that Paul Mitchell was the shampoo that they stocked. Even the elevators were clean! Besides that it's easy to get to and within walking distance to Applebee's and McDonald's with many nearby options. I will certainly recommend this and hope to return soon.

It was so perfect there was nothing I didn't like.

One way that La Quinta exceeded my expectation is that daily housekeeping went on without extra charges or communication. Even some pretty fancy places hassle about clean towels these days. The front desk staff was friendly, I felt like people were paying attention and cared. Hotel was adequately clean and the mattress was quite comfortable. There were plenty of outlets!

I cant tell you anything about the breakfast. 6 to 9 AM is too early for my sleep schedule. The other thing not to like was occasional dumpsters being picked up at 4:30 or 5 in the morning. One night that woke up a small child down the hall who then wailed for an hour, I wanted to cry too. Many nights however, the hotel was quite peaceful overnight.

pet friendly, wanted to stay the following night but there was a pit bull in the room across from me on the 3rd floor which I was told was pet free. The dogs owner had difficulty controlling the dog so I cancelled that reservation. The manager offered to put me on the pet friendly first floor with easy access to the outside which I found absurd because why wasn’t the pit bull given that room. Unfortunate for me because I did like the hotel but not the managers problem solving skills. I won’t go back

The staff were very helpful and nice throughout our stay. Everything was well organized, cleaned well and the breakfast was good and free! Definitely will stay again.

The first room we were assigned to, the toilet was clogged upon arrival (without even using it yet) but once we told the front desk worker she quickly moved us into a different room without charge. That was my only complaint but it was quickly resolved. (May need better maintenance to be aware of those things)

The interior of the hotel lobby and rooms seemed to have been updated recently and was very clean. Staff was friendly and welcoming. Very appreciative of the hotel being dog friendly and not charging non refundable pet fees. We were given a room on the first floor which was helpful for taking out dog/s without having to wait for elevator or use stairs.

The dog relief area was small and owners have not been cleaning up after their dogs.

It looked very recent and modern, clean and the room was spacious enough. The bed was comfortable, the temperature of the room was perfect and the bathroom had clean towels and warm water for the shower. The breakfast was modest in size but with several choices between yogurt, fruit, bagels, sandwiches and etc.

Some people were being very loud after silence hours, but I guess you cannot blame that on the property. The location from the road is a little hard to discover, since it sits right behind another hotel.

when you walk into the lobby it is very nicely decorated. It smells very clean, even the rooms.The staff are beyond helpful, and we’re nice. They make you feel like home away from home. The fact they allow animals is such a plus. The rooms are large and beds very comfy! I will be staying with them again!

The fenced in dog area needs to be cleaned. Feces everywhere, which can make dogs very sick. They need to be strict with the people that stay here w/ their animals about picking up after their dogs. also they shouldn’t allow anyone to walk the hotel with their dogs off leashes. That could turn into a problem with other dogs.

Convenient on and off I95N. Rooms were large and comfortable. Check in was fast and easy. Employees were very friendly and helpful. This is the first hotel we have stayed at that had more than enough outlets we had 4 cell phones, 4 Ipads and 3 pairs of headphones to charge and there were extra outlets. If I'm ever in that area again I will absolutely stay here again!

The grab and go breakfast was the only issue at this place. It seemed to be stocked once and never looked at again. By 8:30 there was nothing no muffins, no yogurt and no sugar for your coffee.

The maintenance man as well as housekeeping were very polite and attentive to our needs.

During check-in after I presented my credit card and ID I told the receptionist my wife would handle the rest, she immediately asked my wife if she was an adult; saying, "I'm sorry you look so young." My wife is 33 and definitely cannot be mistaken for being underage. What an insult. The same receptionist called at 6:17 pm saying she received a noice complaint. We have a five year old son who was playing with his toy cars and he's not a loud child. She said she would explain this to those who called but also stated she hadn't heard from them again although we never stopped him from playing with his cars. I just feel this receptionist has no discretion.
