Comfort Inn & Suites Albuquerque Downtown

The hotel looks fairly new and had great employees. Rico was especially helpful and walked me to my room to show me where I could enter from parking outside. I appreciated this so much since I am not fully mobile and use a cane and had a small pup with me. Parking was right outside my door and made it easy to go in and out from the car. Maybe it was because I was so tired from driving, but the bed was heavenly.

The only downside is that after my daughter booked the room-traveling with a pet, there was a $25 pet fee added on. I don't mind the fee, but would have appreciated knowing at booking, rather than when I checked the reservation I had gotten in email. It turned out to be a fairly pricey room for the short time I needed it but I will stay there again if I stay overnight in Albuquerque.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. The facilities are relatively new, so everything is working well and looks neat. Very clean too.

Neighborhood pretty run-down, lots of homeless people on a field close-by. If you don’t know your way around the ABQ interstate, you can easily get lost coming from the East, with all the different confusing frontage roads around, even with navigation.

The room was very clean. The hot air and ac were quiet and worked well. The bed was incredibly comfortable! Check in was quick and easy.

The doors are very heavy and since my room was next to the exit and stairwell, every time someone opened one of those doors my room shook. With that being said, Saturday night at 11:45 p.m there was a male guest who was fighting with 2 ladies outside the room. I got very scared and did not want to call the front desk for fear he would hear me. He raised his voice and several times and the women tried to calm him down, I thought by 12:15 things were getting quiet and I was falling asleep once again, he started up again. Their door rooms banged, the voices (although they were trying to whisper) were incredibly loud. I was traveling with my dog and I kept reassuring him it was ok, because I didn't want my dog barking.... it was a very uncomfortable feeling.

Nice location close to the freeway. We only stayed one night... checked in late, checked out early. So I wasn't really expecting much other than a clean, safe place to rest and an early breakfast (which was on-time!).

I feel the rate is a bit high, but admittedly this was one of the cheaper deals in town that I could find. If I was staying longer, I might have considered other options.

Excellent check-in/check-out service. Friendly and efficient. Breakfast was good: eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, fresh waffles, coffee. Will stay here again if in area.

Breakfast eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy were lukewarm. There was a microwave to heat up food but should not have the extra step.

The rooms had everything we needed. They were nice, comfortable, clean, and cozy. The bed was comfy and they little shop they had came in handy. The staff was also very kind and welcoming.

I wasn't a huge fan of the pillows, they're kind of small but super full so it was weird. The walls were a little thin, as well. However, these were only minor inconviences.

The location is a little hard to judge. On one side of the hotel the homeless have staked out campsites on the sidewalks, so it is difficult to walk to some of the areas restaurants and bars. If you go under the highway its a whole different experience, a feeling of being safe.

We were on the first floor of the hotel which was great, unfortunately the room above us was occupied and every step taken made the boards between the floors squeak and click.

The continental breakfast bar made our lives so much easier especially since we had to work M-F. I also enjoyed the ease and accessibility of getting to Old town and Sawmill (and just about anywhere!). It was less than a 10 min drive. Also appreciated the fitness center despite it being a bit small — got the job done!

The nightly pet fees :/ I would make it clearer on your website that the cost is $25 PER night. I was told by several associates that it was the cost for the overall stay.

Honestly liked that staff was friendly and prompt as far as questions or any requests and they have fresh clean towels for you everyday without having to ask, bed is firm and sheets are soft and fresh, Pool/jacuzzi is really really clean, and there’s breakfast every morning that is delicious and has a variety of options to chose from.

The location kinda sucks, gas stations are couple minutes away and there not a lot of near by dining but that would be the only thing that we disliked

The location just off of the expressway was our main attraction to this property. We have had great experiences with Comfort Inn and Suites in the past and it continues to hold true. Thank you.

We checked in a little later on Monday night. We were soooo very tired and the checkin clerk was so very thorough (and slow) it was a little annoying. Our only complaint, and that was because we were worn out and tired. She was doing her job!
