Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites Carlsbad, an IHG Hotel

We arrived late and they were very accommodated to us very helpful. The staff was super friendly. Our room was nice temperature wise when we got in there the beds were so comfortable bathroom was spotless. The pool stay open until 11:00 p.m. it is an inside pool with a hot tub very clean. Breakfast was amazing and great They have a hot buffet. Kitchen staff was nice as well. The gym is open 24 hours.

I have family that lives in Carlsbad. I wanted a hotel near their home. I have stayed in other hotels in Carlsbad prior and I will from now on always stay here. The hotel is very clean and the staff is very friendly. The breakfast is AMAZING. I loveeeee your pancake maker!!! It's about time that Carlsbad has a nice place to stay at a reasonable price. Thank you so much!

Great location that was easy to find. The staff was great and friendly. The room was clean and very spacious. Breakfast was good. The pool and spa were great for the family. The lobby was clean. The hotel was kept nice and tidy.

Could not find the sheets for the pull out sofa bed. Wish there was bacon on the menu for breakfast.

We didn't have breakfast. Staff went out of their way, cheerfully really excellent!! Comfortable, roomy, very comfy bed. Area not the fault of hotel.

I don't think Carlsbad is a great area for visiting...it was safe and very clean and relatively convenient - again the town not the hotel.

I was very impressed with this hotel. It's very well designed and the amenities were just what i was looking for. The staff at the desk was amazing. They were kind enough to get us plates for our dinner in the room. In Carlsbad, I wouldn't recommend any other place than here. Their breakfast was also full service. I really enjoyed my entire experience.

Beautiful spacious handicapped room. Beds were comfortable and the main room was clean.

The bathroom looked like it wasn't cleaned at all. Dark yellow pee on the back of the toilet seat and only half a roll of toilet paper hanging.

The hotel was very accommodating, although some days they weren’t fully staffed the people that were working there made the time spent there accommodating the best possible way that they could even though they were short staffed they still kept moving to help everyone that stayed at the hotel. All the staff were nice and friendly.

Clean, big room as advertised. Reception staff friendly and helpful.

Staff at breakfast were quite unfriendly. I hated the use of all disposable (styrofoam) plates etc.

Angie the lady at the front desk who works in the evenings deserves a HUGE pay raise. She helped us find eating places, fun things to do with our boys overall a great help. We are traveling back home to Texas and she made our stay there very pleasant😊😊😊😊😊😊

I had to change my check-in date for a day early but there was not a suite available so I got a regular two queen room. The regular rooms are just like a suite. Very luxurious! Keurig coffee maker with K cups. No small traveling shampoos/conditioners/ and body soap full size and natural... WHAT. OK, I SEE YOU.
