The room was perfect for coming back to and showering and going to bed. It was clean, our towels were changed everyday while we were gone, and trash was emptied. It comes with all the essentials you may need. It was very quiet and the host was amazing! She was super nice and very welcoming. The breakfast burrito is delicious! We loved that it was only 20mins from Carlsbad National Park and only 40mins from Guadalupe National Park.

We loved everything while staying here. I guess the only downside would be the rooms are very small - but we knew that going in and it wasn't a problem for us. I give this place a 10/10.

Super nice staff, very accommodating and welcoming. Ran by young couple that seems to care about the property and is very customer oriented. We checked in quite late and were greeted warmly by the smiling hostess. Had everything needed for 3 night stay. Surprisingly Bookings describes room as 750sq ft which it is not but was still very sufficient and also functional. Someone said already looks like a cruise ship cabin and we do agree a lot with that. All was working well and space was used the best way possible with lots of storage. Food truck for breakfast with quite delicious burritos and nice lady serving those and a cup of coffee- Great idea. We would recommend it and would definitely stay again. Thanks

The staff was very friendly and good. Small compact room, but for just one night I don´t need a big room or many amenities. This site can´t be old, 5-10y? In good condition. The bathroom was very clean. Not a single hair in the shower drain. Unfortunately I didn´t have time to have breakfast. I just grabbed a coffee, but it sure smelled amazing from the kitchen. I regret I didn´t ask for a togo bag.....If you´re in the area for hiking, spending most of your time away using the bed and shower mainly, this is a good alternative I can recommend. Location is fine just outside Carlsbad.

Nothing in particular. All in all it was very good value for money.

I LOVED this place. It is family owned and they waited until I got there because I arrived late as a solo female traveler. They also were very accomodating on check out and helped me move my stay by a day because of weather. The room was perfect - everything you need in an efficient space with nice size bathroom and shower as well. Great location for National Parks. The burrito in the morning was SO much better than the carb fix garbage you get at a chain. And finally it was a great value. I would def stay again and wish every road side inn was this clean.

It is surprisingly VERY clean. I read this in the reviews but was even more surprised to see it in person. The set up has everything - bed, AC unit/heater, closet, fridge, microwave, desk, chairs, sink, restroom with shower. What was said about the breakfast burrito is true. Get it! I didn’t have salsa and thought it was tasty.

The set up is basic but that didn’t really bother us. This is more of any fyi. My husband and I only need to stay for one night. We were comfortable. It was a good break from camping in the cold.

The breakfast and location met our needs well. The rooms were clean and efficient but most people would consider them Spartan. We ask for rooms near each other. We were in the same part of the compound but not in adjacent rooms.

Noises carried from one room to another and from the courtyard into our rooms. The window in my son's room was not sealed so a significant about of dirt and grit blew in around the window and through the air conditioner. He chose to not use the a/c to keep some of it out.

it was spotless, the bed very comfortable and the room, though small had everything we needed. The shower was full strength with very hot water. The breakfast burrito was freshly made and really good. There was also fruit, pastries, cereal and fresh coffee. The staff were friendly. A great value.

The sanitizer used was too fragrant for me, but they really just wanted to make it safe for the guests, so I can understand, but it was a bit overpowering. it was a floral smell, not Lysol. The room was quite bright at night, so some dark curtains would help.

creative use of space to provide private rooms with a private bath. customer service was great with a nice breakfast provided in the morning. the location was perfect for visiting the National Park. you can easily watch the bat flight from the cavern in the evening and return the park the next morning after a pleasant night’s sleep. This isn’t the type place you hang out all day with the family. It’s better suited as a staging area for local activities.

Don’t let the first impression from outside scare you. it’s not fancy inside but it clean and comfortable.

Very clean, quiet, very nice and friendly staff

Shower floor was very slippery, shower curtain was too small for shower size (water sprayed out to floor), bed was full size and one side of bed was up against the wall which made it hard to get up to go to bathroom. We were asked if we could check out 2 hrs before check out time because someone else needed a room. No ice machine on property, sink was outside of bathroom. This place caters more to the oilfield workers.

Great location to Carlsbad Caverns and Guadeloupe Mountains NP. The small room was comfortable and clean and had AC and heat. Breakfast was great—breakfast burrito, snacks, coffee. Check in and checkout was super easy and the lady that works there was really nice. I would stay here again when in the area

The area isn’t the greatest. The outlet in the bedroom over the bed wouldn’t charge our devices.
