room furnishings no longer have the southwestern charm they used to have. Air conditioning loud and no refrigerator the first night. no microwave that was on the booking confirmation.; No breakfast or coffee in lobby; breakfast food truck not available until last day

The room was as expected, amenities and design were stylish. The bed was comfortable, we were able to stay with our dogs, and the staff was nice.

The parking lot or the amount of spaces for the expected number of guests isn't sized appropriately. We were there on a Friday night and there was live music in the bar, but there's no food on-site, so when we left to get dinner and returned, there was no longer parking on site (as there had been when we checked in). I'm surprised that there aren't dedicated spaces for paying overnight guests, and potentially then overflow parking for patrons who are just there for the bar/music. Also, we arrived early (before check-in time) and were told that someone would call as soon as our room became available, but no one ever called.

The room was stylish and comfortable. The skylight in the shower was a nice touch. The area around the rooms were very clean and thoughtfully designed for travelers and families who were staying (e.g., picnic benches on a grassy lawn, under trees for shade). Breakfast from the food truck was delicious. Location was perfect--we were a 10 minute drive from everywhere we wanted to visit in Santa Fe.

Just some very, VERY minor nuisances that weren't dealbreakers at all, but that stuck out: the TV in our room wasn't working; the pool was closed for maintenance on the day of our stay; the toilet was weirdly tall, which was uncomfortable for me (a petite woman); and the coffee machine in the lobby wasn't working the morning we needed it. These don't take away from the fact that we'd 100% stay here again, and for longer than just one night.

I loved so much about the El Rey Court. The style was amazing. The bar had a great drink menu included non-alcoholic spirits which I enjoy. The food truck on site was yummy. it was 3 minutes to Meow Wolf which was the reason we were in town. the poop was gorgeous and everything was so clean. the bathroom, room, pool, grounds, and lobby were all very clean. it is set back from the main road which was quite lovely and made you feel secluded and not right in town while still being within driving distance to the joys of Santa Fe.

my only recommendation would be bring your own pillow as the pillows were a bit soft and not as fluffy as I prefer. the mattress was pleasant though.

So welcoming, homely and really friendly staff. the rooms had everything you need and beautiful design. The guest living room with its fireplace, art, vinyls and record player, all day coffee and a fabulous table for working at or sofas for relaxing - just perfect! The pantry Mexican diner next door is a perfect combo for an amazing breakfast, lunch or dinner!

It’s near a busy road, however my room was close to the road and my sleep wasn’t disturbed. If you’re travelling without a car, as I was, it’s a bit tricky to get around but there are local buses downtown.

Rooms were clean and comfortable.

When I checked in and got my room I found out the parking for my room was in a dirt parking lot and that I was quite a distance from my room. Except for a few rooms everyone parked on the asphalt. At 75 and with knees that don’t work so well, I made two trips with my bags to get to my room, and two trips to my vehicle when I left. The hotel and grounds are beautiful and comfortable but not a good match for me. Next time I go to Santa Fe, I’ll stay else where.

We loved the hotel! The design is very special and you can tell every detail was accounted for, it makes the experience much more unique. The facilities are great: the pizza night, breakfast food truck, hotel bar, and the pool were all really fun.

Our only complaint— on our last day, housekeeping came to clean our room only at 5:00pm. We left the room early in the morning with the “please make up our room” sign on the door; returning to our room at 4pm and finding it still was not made after a long day was disappointing to say the least.

Love the amenities on site! Went swimming every day and ended each night at the bar. Wish I had time to try the pizza truck pop-up! I'll have to come back in the fall/winter so I have an excuse to use the fireplace in the room. Parking is free and easy. Also, location is perfect—a quick trip downtown or for day trips outside of Santa Fe.

Wish my room was slightly smaller—I really didn't need the full apartment style for my 2 night stay. Definitely has that 'vintage motel' vibe (which I love), but if you're looking for brand-spanking-new, top-of-the-line, this is not it.

I loved how they kept the old and incorporated in the new. I loved the style of the room, the decor was simple yet had a statement. I didn't use any of the facilities, but they seemed like a perfect bonus. The rooms were graciously spacious. A bistro table and chairs would have been a great edition, there were a few places they could have fit! It would be the perfect size for a small studio apartment. I'd move in in a heartbeat!

There are a few things that could use a better update. For example, the doors to the bathroom and the closet doors; loud squeaky hinges, painted over so many times they stick & /or don't shut all the way. There was a small gap in the main door, which felt a bit unsafe. The price seemed a little much for the place, but a nice overall stay. I love BRIGHT lights, and the lighting lacked–however the lamps themselves were beautiful.

This is definitely one of the cutest hotels I’ve ever stayed at. It has such a unique Santa Fe vibe and tons of history. The rooms are thoughtfully designed, and even had a fellow coffee kettle and really nice toiletries. The food truck (turquoise trailer) on the property had delicious food and the mezcal bar (La reina) was hip and popular with great drinks. I’ll definitely stay here again next time I’m in Santa Fe.

I wish the bed had a few more pillows.
