Wyndham Garden Brooklyn Sunset Park

The rooms are clean and the design is nice; i love the headboards that extends up the wall and across the ceiling. One rater described them as futuristic and I would agree; I've never saw one this shape and it was also like a reptile type of texture to it. It has a great location for many of things in walking distance- we walked to Saks off Fifth in less than 20 minutes. Anything u want to eat or shop is in walking distance. The community is safe and people were friendly as we were out walking and exploring the Sunset Park area of Brooklyn. Ubers arrived pretty quickly to this location. It's a nice touch to have food on location though we didn't utilize their services. We got stuck in NY due to weather and this place was the best bargain yet was far from a budget looking hotel. Plenty of towels and toiletries and the cleaning staff kept things tidy. Nice strong shower and a beautiful view from the window. Plenty of channel options on thw TV if u want to stay in. I was able to extend my checkout 2 hrs with no extra fee, last minute, and i truly appreciate that. Booking never steers me wrong- there were no hidden fees at checkout. I will definitely be back if in the NY area. I think the location is very smart

The air had to be reset but that was a quick fix and the shower had a tad of a slow drain BUT i didn't inform them about it until check out so i am 100% sure if i would have told them prior, they would have fixed it on the double. Very hospitable! Only typed this part to be transparent (because they ask) but there are NO complaints!

I stayed 1 night. Location is nice. I like the fridge. The bed & pillows were very comfortable. They gave me an extra wash rag. Hamza, the front desk attendant was so nice and informative. Parking is there but just have to book in advance. Ice machine, vending machine & ATM machine are on the 2nd floor.

The headboard needed to be cleaned a bit more. The shower pressure wasn't really normal. I rather more holes than that Delta 4 hole showerhead. I killed 1 roach. I paid $30 for breakfast beforehand, not knowing it wasn't a real hot breakfast option. It was a Brown Bag "Grab & Go" Breakfast. Inside the brown bag was a fruit cup, a mini "Naked" drink, a protein bar, a small chocolate crossiant. I wanted fresh & hot pancakes, scrambled eggs and bacon. Don't add breakfast to your room.

I had interactions with four different staff members and they were all so nice, professional, and helpful. That was really what made my stay. The lobby and breakfast area are pretty nice. Breakfast also looked decent. I like that the room had tile and not carpet and the hotel was pretty quiet even though I was off the lobby, which was a surprise. Great pillows. Great cable selection. I'm so happy that this hotel is in Sunset Park. The area needs more nice hotels!

I probably had, I assume, one of the lower-end rooms in the hotel on the basement floor below the lobby, and it wasn't that bad. It smelled like cigarette smoke when I checked in, but the next day I asked them to ventilate it, and they did, and it was much better. The room needed paint and was a tiny bit grimy, but the decor is pretty cute and modern. The walls had stains, and the shower tile was possibly a bit old. Grout coming off, or maybe just a ton of buildup. The room felt mostly clean but not really clean. A few grimy areas around the toilet and corners of the room.

First of all great location. Right in the heart of Brooklyn NY neighborhoods ( great 24 hour diner nearby too. (Sunset Park diner)I stayed overnight before my cruise out of Bayonne the next day. Love the hotel great boutique feel, decor, clean well appointed rooms etc. etc location. Especially the staff . Special mention to Edwin front desk and Ahrora in Restaurant/Bar area . Great breakfast comfortable room, great view of skyline. Convieantly located walking distance to neighborhoods I visited such as Williamsburg etc. The only negative not alot of parking if you arrive in your own car everything else great. Staying at Wyndham next year for my next Jan cruise from Bayonne.

Nice clean and cozy room. Nice bed, beautiful bathroom sink, shower toilet. I found everything I need in the room, safe, closet, hangers, hair dryer, soap, shampoo, iron table, coffee machine

I told the receptionist that I will park outside give me a minute to bring my stuff up to the room and then I’ll come downstairs and move the car out of the facility because they charge almost 45 a night but I guess by the time I brought my stuff upstairs and get situated it was too late I was charged already

The rooms were very clean and comfortable, the location is a bit far from the main Manhattan area in NY but it has very good access to 2 subway stations which make it easy to reach the main tourist areas in NY within 45 minutes.

I think that for my stay things were great and can not complain on anything except maybe the price was a bit high but this is NY after all

clean, aesthetically pleasing, staff were friendly and let us check out late without fee, near many local spots, close to the train, good food options nearby, nice rooms and room service overall.

my neighbors were pretty loud all night and the walls were pretty thin, so you could hear people coming in and out of their room sometimes after 12 am but otherwise people kept it quiet and to themselves.

We stayed on the top floor. Our small room had a fantastic view of Manhattan. Only a short walk from the subway station and from Industry City where we were working. Clean room, comfy beds.

The glass-walled bathroom is not fun when staying with a colleague. And the entire hotel constantly stank of cannabis.
