Radisson Hotel Corning

Great staff at the front desk. Was a very easy checking in and out process. Super clean rooms and pretty comfortable beds. I personally loved the flavor of the coffee in the actual room over the coffee in the lobby. The location of this hotel is totally awesome if your looking to do things in downtown Corning like I was. I stayed here for the Gass Fest. You go out the back way of the hotel and it's right there for you. 😊 Will definitely stay here again!

only complaint I could make with this hotel is the shower. Very low water pressure and the faucet of the tub/shower is very complicated at first to figure out how to turn on and the ice. Machine on our floor was broken, but no biggie. There are other machines to use.

Excellent location for the Corning museum which was much more interesting than we expected it to be. Also it's right at the quaint downtown area with excellent places to eat. Convenient on site parking. Renovated rooms are very nice.

The black building is a real negative. We almost decided not to stay since it is so dreary , however the inside was surprisingly lovely. There is no breakfast included, but also no hot water or coffee in the lobby. There's a restaurant in the hotel, but we preferred going to a cute downtown bakery/coffee shop.

Location was great. Walking distance to downtown Corning, close to the airport, convenient. 👌 I overheard room service might start. That would be nice.

Parking on the property was challenging at the end of the week. I had to park behind the Radisson on the weekend in a municipal lot. Although free for the weekends, I was told to make sure I moved my car by Monday morning or it might be towed😳

The bed was comfortable and the location was excellent but the best was the upscale decor. We will look for more Radisson's

We had trouble adjusting the temperature in the room. The wall thermostat didn't do anything and the heating/AC unit had a cover over the controls that was very difficult to open. Fortunately the front desk person came to the rescue and forced the cover open on the A/C unit and said the wall thermostat was disconnected/ or never connected. Seems like they should remove the wall thermostat or at least out a sign on it and make it easier to open the unit control cover.

The room was well laid out, large, and above average in decor...the view from the large window overlooked a lovely planted courtyard. Parking was included and close to the entry. A restaurant was available, but we decided to explore the city and also visit the Corning Museum...Everything was above par, and we were thrilled with this little escape. The Radisson's location is excellent. I have already contacted family and suggested a Family Corning getaway.

Front desk seemed a bit aloof....perhaps she was having a bad day. I don't need a beaming ,friendly encounter...just a sense that we are welcomed. However, other staff members we encountered were less aloof.

Very friendly, helpful night staff. Free parking which we were able to use all of the next day while out exploring the town. Quiet, large room.

The renovations of all the rooms next door left a bit of a paint odor in our room but we survived. Only two rooms on a week & a half long trip had drains that drained properly. Shampoo and water are extremely slippery. I highly recommend cleaning those drains regularly!

Very clean, right on Market St, close to everything and the shuttle to the Corning Glass Museum. Very close to Wegmans. Bed was good, lots of pillows! Decent fridge, microwave in room! Shower was nice, lots of light in bathroom and bedroom. Overall really good!

Only stayed for 3 nights, so no daily housekeeping. But we were able to get fresh towels at the desk without a problem!

Location is great! Close to Gaffer district and walkable to the museums. Free parking ob site. Nice restaurant and bar. Rooms spacious and fairly updated.

Lobby needs a face lift and restaurant facilities but seems like work is being done. I also hoped to book it as part of choice hotels but apparently they are going to become hilton, not choice, so no points on my radisson/choice fusion stay which was disappointing.

Very conveniently located to Market St and the shops and restaurants. Room was large and well appointed. Bed was comfortable and air flow was good. Staff were friendly and pleasant.

The GPS had a hard time locating the property and it was dark so we didn’t see the sign on the first pass. The fire alarm went off in the morning as they are doing renovations and was on for a long time.

The hotel staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The desk staff went above and beyond to assist us. The hotel was conveniently located at the end of the Main Street of Cornings delightful Gaffur District and right off the beautiful river walk.

There was a lovely outdoor patio with fire pits and seating. It did not look open, but that could have been because it was only mid April in upstate New York.
