Longhouse Lodge Motel

The coffee was good. I think for the price the owner could have furnished a donut or danish that was locally baked and packaged rather than serving mass produced(Hostess, etc) products. This would have shown an attention to detail that was somewhat missing.

It has a fantastic Lake View. It's cozy and home like. A little dated, but charming. Great location and quiet. Beds super comfy. I've stayed here before and it's a great place. Plenty of parking. WIFI is excellent. Cable is good. Pool is seasonal. Campus is CLEAN. Five min drive into the Glen itself.

Has a desk with no outlet close to the desk for laptop. Had school and work to do and had to maneuver over the dresser and wedge my hand back to the outlet for the lap top cord. Unplugged some things on the multistick for my cell charger. Moved the lamp from the bedside table to the desk and used the multistick. Off season, so school and work load was important. Not necessarily a vacation.

Our stay at the Longhouse Lodge Motel was great. Loved the view of the lake. The rocking chairs outside the room were great. The gazebo and gas fireplace was great with the view of the lake! The staff were friendly and very accommodating. I booked on Booking. Com which was very easy.

My husband said the garbage outside the pool wasn’t emptied for the two days we were there.

The staff are very nice and accommodating! Pets are welcome! The room itself is clean and smells good. The motel has a pool, a cute gazebo and rocking chairs! They had breakfast (coffee, muffins, danish, donettes). The view from our room was nice. We can see the Seneca Lake. Location is nice, not too crowded and 5min drive to Watkins Glen downtown.

It was so comfortable and a beautiful view. These beds were great I slept like a baby! So relaxing and the rocking chairs were a great touch. The staff was on it. Super nice people. I felt like it had to be family owned. It was so simple but the bathroom was SPOTLESS! Such a relaxing little place.

Perfect location. Close to everything downtown, beautiful view, super friendly staff. Exactly what I was looking for. Me and my girlfriend will be definitely coming back!

It's an older place so Its obviously going to need a few things. But that's exactly what I was looking for. No complaints!

Great location; great view; great outdoor space; nice pool; huge bathroom; packaged food for breakfast; and good indoor space.

The shower was difficult to regulate temperature & we wish the water pressure was stronger; however, we understand it was a motel and not our home! We also wished people didn’t smoke right by the doors. Other than that, great property & great stay!

Quiet room, good shower, good AC we needed it as temp outside reached an unseasonable 95!., very nice swimming pool and gazebo, good view in mornings over lake in distance, free coffee and danish breakfast, dogs allowed 😀

Karen was very friendly and helpful in checking us in and getting us familiar with the area. Provided many brochures of activities close by. Room was large, comfortable, and very clean. Tub was exceptionally clean. Towels were soft and fluffy. Decor was vintage and in good condition. Location was great. Beautiful view. Short drive to town , wineries, and Watkins Glen park.

I really can’t think of anything I didn’t like.

It was lovely sitting on the deck in rocking chairs looking out towards the lake. Unfortunately we didn’t have time to use the swimming pool and/or the fire pit, but both looked very inviting.

There was a musty smell when you went in - air freshener?? The walls were pretty thin!
