The Hub Murray Hill, BW Premier Collection

This hotel does exactly what it says it will - and quite well. Room was large and very nicely furnished. Bed was exceptionally comfortable. Good desk and work chair - with option to sit in comfortable chair with a pull-up desk, good lamps, lots of plugs, large television, good alarm clock. Excellent bathroom. Proper places to hang clothes. Microwave, refrigerator both of a reasonable size, in good working order and clean. Really everything one could want. Good location, too; everything one could need within walking distance (including large shopping centre and train station), and easy access for drivers from nearby highways.

Breakfast was very limited, even for these COVID times.

The attached restaurant, Moe's Bistro, was absolutely outstanding. The food was great. The service was great. They had a "special dinner" for hotel guests at a special price which was an incredibly good deal. My daughter and I both ordered the special dinner and enjoyed it immensely. The complimentary glass of wine that came with dinner was top-notch. I have a follow-up work engagement in June and will definitely plan to stay here again.

Breakfast included was a joke. A de frosted baggel with a pot of cheese spread in a brown paper bag. Handed over the counter in the foyer as a takeaway. No tea available or means of boiling water. No tea, and water boiling facility in the room either. No details of hotel facilities in rooms or in foyer. We assumed that the restaurant was closed for Covid, we found out that it was open when it was time to leave. No best Western Decals or signs anywhere.

I really like the restaurant at this hotel. I have eaten there twice and have been very happy with both meals. They also have a "special" for hotel guests that is a good value.

Elevator didn't work in the morning, so had to take the stairs. Since the hotel is only three levels this was no big deal.

I liked the way the room temp was reliably controlled by adjusting the thermostat. The beds were comfortable and bedding warm. They allowed me a late checkout which was great as I am a late sleeper. Slept through breakfast but fresh coffee available in the lobby as well as spring water or sparkling water.

One towel was soft and fluffy and other one thin and rough.

Mattress was excellent. I have stayed here before and that is a comfort I look forward to. Hall carpets and walls are a calm and interesting blue, nicer than most. The 2 staff people we met were very nice.

The location was great. The staff was friendly. The building was quiet. The room was clean and comfortable. Moe's Bistro, the restaurant on site, was terrific. Our in room kitchen made our three day staff a bit like more homey.

Some things in our room had cosmetic issues, like a dent in the wall and a unsecured hook in the bathroom. Also the breakfast was complete but the waffle maker had no waffle mix and the coffee ran out. The attendant could have been more attentive.

due to covid breakfast was taken care of by staff considering the circumstances that was well done. we enjoyed our stay and were comfortable despite the construction. I just think that the price could have been discounted due to the noise and dust and odors caused by the construction.
