Adria Hotel and Conference Center

Espresso cofffee in lobby, fresh fruit, very nice housekeeping staff. Helpful desk, too. Let us check in early . Stay here because its near my very elderly mom and last year trashed lobby in my review,. Much improved. Place looked nice. Big closet, draws for clothes, adequate, small hair dryer I like, bath tub and good shower.

Knew itcwas grab and go breakfast nut I think energy bars are to breakfast are what Vegas is to "family vacation". A rational to do or eat unhealthy. Muffins, also. Corn, bran, not sweet. Blackout curtains should cover the entire window, if you wabt them to.not just sheers in the middle. Some jerk with a truck like vehicle, parked in a way that blocked a big section of the lot. Made usually easy parking, less easy. Had to request safe key, after checking in. Nothing major.

Room was clean, had a decent shower. comfy bed, Fridge and coffee machine. Large TV with a good choice of cable channels Breakfast was fine with a decent choice of cooked items, drinks and pastries etc. Bus stop right outside hotel where you can get Q10 bus which runs every 10mins to Bayside or Broadway LIRR train stations in around 15mins, from there you can get a local LIRR train to Penn Station in Manhattan in around 25mins. You can also get the Q31 bus within 10mins walk away which will take you directly to Jamaica Train station, where you get the Shuttle to JFK Airport Lots of restaurants and take-aways within walking distance of Hotel. Nice Lake with walks within 10mins walk from Hotel Great value for money compared to properties in Manhattan etc.

Air Conditioner Unit was a bit noisy

We like to sleep in a cooler environment so we turned down the heat. Then we needed an extra blanket. We asked for one and it was quickly delivered. When we asked for additional coffee, they delivered it to the room immediately. Parking was more convienent that places we had stayed previously. The staff were all very welcoming. The facility was well cleaned. We had to leave a day earlier and they did not charge us for the room or penality

There was no hair conditioner available at the Hotel.

First of all, the staff and service is amazing. The staff is super friendly. Whenever something was needed it was immediately supplied with great kindness. Additionally, the included breakfast is great with a lot of variety and also very kind staff. The hotel is very cooperative. They have showed this to us multiple times. They did not charge us when we arrived a day later due to flight delay. Also, as we were there to attend a wedding, they gave us permission to utilize temporarily some extra space when the hair-and-make-up specialist came. This hotel has been a wonderful experience and not only do I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a hotel in this area, I am 100% sure that for any future trip I will definitely stay at Adria.

Housekeeping should come more often (However I have been informed that housekeeping was limited due to COVID19 restrictions and if needed extra housekeeping could be requested) The double beds were slightly at the small size Pity that no warm water - for tea - is available during the day (However, there was a delicious coffee machine available the entire day)

Lovely staff; good place to stay while visiting family nearby. Comfortable mattresses.

All hotels in NY area this summer are incredibly overpriced. This is not a luxury stay -- no gym on site for example, but compared to everything else we were able to find this was one of the lower prices for a double room.

The staff was really friendly the breakfast was pretty good and the location was close to everything .There was a nice lake you can walk around and convenient to all the restaurants and stores within walking distance. The cute little quicker/monk parakeets were cute to watch across the street

I’m a smoker and I had to go out to the parking area to smoke I just wish they had some seating out there for the smokers so we didn’t have to stand around but other than that the hotels great

Friendliness of staff. Very happy to assist. Convenient free parking. Clean comfortable room. We have stayed here before and would do so again.

Breakfast needs much improving. Booking.com listing says " Very good breakfast ". However, breakfast consists of a couple of granola bars, an apple and pre-packaged oatmeal which you have to pick up at front desk and carry to your room. Hardly, a " very good breakfast ". With inside dining permitted in NYC the Adria is hiding behind the pandemic to give guests a very cheap breakfast. The breakfast always disappoints. They should simply not promise breakfast if this is the best they can do.

The neighbourhood felt safe, the location is close to highways, public transit, and restaurants . The parking was free and so was breakfast. The staff were very friendly and efficient.

I didn't like that you are unable to access the stairs from the parking lot, you have to wait for the elevator which is extremely slow.

The room and bathroom were clean and very spacious. There was parking available and we were provided with breakfast vouchers. Even though we did not have the chance to eat, the breakfast buffet had a lot to choose from. Also, it was quiet and we did not hear any noise coming from anyone next door to us. Overall, this hotel was a nice spot to spend a night out in.

The elevator was either not working or being overused because, it never came back up to our floor. But there was a staircase we were able to use.

The staff was very friendly and the hotel was very clean. The breakfast was great and you could not ask for more of a variety. I made a request one evening for coffee pods and within 5 minutes they water brought to my room.

I was concerned the heating unit might affect my sleeping because it was loud but it did not. I would have like some info in my room about services in the hotel, good places to eat, interesting places to visit.
