The room door wasn't insulated no rubber weather stripping felt like the people in the hallway were in the room with me

Its a very clean quiet place. One really nice guy at the front desk.

The rest of the staff at the front desk is rude. The manager knocked on my door to tell me I had 4 visitors the day before. As if didn't know that. I'm visiting from out of town I have friends and family. I sleep early so nobody came after 9 pm ever. I don't drink I don't smoke I'm not loud. I decided that would be my last day there after using the place several times during previous visits to NYC and being quite happy there. Will not repeat due to the Managers strange visit. I had been there multiple times before and had many visitors. I'm always clean quiet and respectful so it's their loss as I'm a very frequent traveler.

Excellent breakfast.

I checked in 8:00p.m.Front desk guy’s behavior was not good. I think he doesn’t know manner.

The breakfast was excellent. The person setting up the breakfast was very attentive and ensured that all items were replenished promptly. The breafast was very clean and adequate.

The reception staff was brusque and unfriendly; he was also unhelpful. When we checked in he asked whether we wanted our room cleaned in the morning. We said "no" , and asked when it would be cleaned. He said "when staff are assigned" but did not answer when we asked what that meant. When we returned to our room late on the second night, the room had not been cleaned and the towels were not replaced. I had to get towels from the from desk, and got only two incomplete sets. Later that evening the attendant called to say that we had opted for no room service. He did not seem to care -- not even an insincere apology.

Overall Hotel is overall good, clean, Staff was cooperative, especially Mr. KEV. breakfast was good. Public transport is easily accessible like subways ( Briarwood, Van Wyck, Stuphin Blvd) 10 mins approximately walk, easy way to Manhanttan. Bus Station ( Queens Blvd). Departmental stores and gas stations are also nearby. Halal cart (Shah's) is just outside Briarwood Subway Station. Pizza parlour is also near. Muslim Masjid is nearby on Hillside. Church is nearby as well. Burlington, Target & Primemark stores approximately 1.2 miles away, can easily be accessible by Lyft, Uber & Bus. Airports JFK & Lagardia are not too far away. Overall experience is good.

Hotel is little bit old. And there was noise of traffic because of van Wyck expressway.

Best Western had a friendly professional staff and a quiet environment. I’m from Georgia and I was here on family business. The hotel was within walking distance from the Jamaica Queens Medical/Trauma Center where my son was hospitalized in ICU on a respirator being treated for his heart attack and COVID. I could visit him daily without using Lyft/Uber. We were also near Bodegas to get hot meals and/or necessities.

No complaints.

It was clean, and we'll ventilated. And the breakfast was sufficient.

They really need to soundproof the windows facing the Van Wyck. The shades didn't work. The bathtub plug didn't work, but I figured out another way to use it. The doors need to have self closing hinges because the door slamming was awful. The shower head was leaking, so that needs maintenance.

This hotel is everything I expect for both price and location. It is a very straight forward, no frills situation. Folks at the front desk were pleasant enough. And the parking is a nice touch for the area.

While I do feel the room is generally well cleaned, there were random long dark hairs on the towels. I’m an adult, I know hair sheds, but also “ewww!”. It was a bit noisy in the morning while housekeeping was about, but not every one sleeps in.

The hotel is well locating within 8 mns of 2 metro stations. There is a free car park available. the rolls are adequate, and clean. The breakfast was excellent: good variety to suit all.

The hotel could do with installing some double glazing windows since we are close to the highway, it is a bit noisy. The beds were too soft for my personal preference.

Easy on/ off access from the Van Wyck Expressway, close to other major highways. Breakfast was excellent, dining areas were clean. Beds were comfortable. Free parking but spaces were tight. All the of the staff members were very helpful!

There was a strong smell of marijuana in the lobby the evening we arrived. Windows were very drafty had to put pillows on the windowsill. Noise from other people and traffic, our room was on the 1st floor 🙄
