Hampton Inn New York - LaGuardia Airport

Large room and restroom. Extremely clean. Close to airport. Loved the airport shuttle access. Nice staff.

Check-in was okay, despite the fact I was never told I was being charged a deposit on top of the room charge before my card was run. It wasn't an issue, but it would've been nice to know in advance. Went to ask the front desk for a toothbrush, but they were all out even though it's listed all over the room that they had them available. Breakfast was very limited and looked mediocre.

The proper was literally across from the airport. Also very quiet located in a nice neighborhood. The served the most delicious breakfast in the morning… parking cost was approximately $10 a night .

I think that they don’t have enough staff available.

The lovely young lady at check-in (about 8:30 PM) was a breath of fresh air for us tired travelers. Everything worked as stated and expected. We appreciate the continuous coffee service and the airport shuttle (the driver was friendly and helpful as well).

The hotel was super clean and the staff was welcoming. The property could use a refresh for decor and furniture in the room. The sound of airplanes was substantially reduced and muffled, but not soundproof.

I like the breakfast, wish I was able to order food directly from hotel instead of outside/deliver. One of the guys at front desk called me a taxi not knowing at the time he had placed a call for the most expensive. The trip for a regular taxi costed me $25 and the taxi he called wanted to charge me $45.

Not to over charge me because I was from out of state. That taxi driver lost my business.

It was convenient to get to/from the airport. The room was a decent size and clean. The TV was great to have when we wanted to watch TV. The lounge area in the lobby is convenient. The breakfast was great to have every morning and nice that it was somewhat changed every morning so there was a variety to choose from while also accommodating some daily available items like cereal, yogurt and bread/waffles. Transportation was readily available and easily accessible. We took a shuttle there and used public transportation to get around. There were also vending machines and an ice machine.

The only 2 things I didn't like were the fact that the window was dirty so I couldn't take pictures of the scenery (I believe it was the outside of the window) and that the room did not have a readily available refrigerator. I couldn't store anything in the room to have for the next day.

Loved the location if you are looking for a place next to the airport. The Shuttle runs every 20 mins. The breakfast is wonderful - good spread and hot. Coffee is available round the clock. The Health club is spacious and well setup. While there is no restaurant on premise, one can use the hotel next door which is a sister property. The rooms are spacious.

It would have been good to have a microwave in the room. There are hardly any restaurants closeby so having a way to heat any food that you order or buy would be great.

This one's a comparison, the room is spacious compared to the hotel by the name Lagaurdia(a sister hotel of theirs - uses same airport shuttle). The beds were big, happy for that for a family sharing the room. And the staff too were laid back and were assistive.

Vending machines could be upgraded, some of them didn't work. Not many quick snack options(not stocked) for a stay that's nearby airport and only good for ordering food.

Close to the airport with a free shuttle that starts at 4:00am and runs every 20min in the mornings. In the evening they send a shuttle on request and it came within 10 minutes after I called.

I had 2 separate stays. One time on 2nd floor and the next week on the 3rd floor. Both times it was hard to get any warm water in the bathroom. I had to let the shower run for about 5 minutes before it warmed up. After that it was fine with good water pressure.

Super easy check in. Nice sized rooms, and really nice updated bathroom when I stayed there. Easy for Uber Eats Delivery. Front desk attendant was great, super nice and helpful. Nice offerings in the lobby in terms of free coffee, and other food items for purchase.

The bed was not super comfortable. It felt too worn in, and maybe too old. The sheets and pillows were fine, it was truly the mattress. Felt like it was sagging and sinking into the ground.

The size of the room was more than what I expected. Very comfortable with chaise lounge chair for reading. Nightlite in the bathroom. Room was exceptionally quiet. Couldn't hear noise from the rest of the hotel (our room was near an elevator) nor from the planes coming in and taking off from LaGuardia. Wasn't expecting breakfast and it had many options. Parking was available in the lot and on the street.

The sheets on the bed tended to come off the corners and had to be readjusted during the night. Didn't have hand towels in the bathroom.
